I watched some girl's you tube channel that quoted Dr. Gabor Mate saying ...addiction was never our problem... Addiction was our best attempt to solve the problem.. Good line.? ..Because it's so true. So I totally understand everything you're saying

That's interesting, I have always thought I was born an addict and it shows up in everything, food, yoga, weights, sex, dope, booze chocolate, grapes, quantum physics. Whatever stimulates me and releases dopamine will cause my mind to seek more of it. Things like chocolate will raise dopamine 20 times, opiates will raise it 400 times. Sorry for the long wind, it's not everyone you can share this with.

Glad you’re resetting. I wanted to share something. About 10 years ago I went on a weekend retreat at a convent upstate NY. I live on Long Island, so I packed for the weekend. Hairdryer, makeup, outfit to go out with, and weed. when I got there my room had a twin bed, a desk a lamp a bible and a crucifix on the wall. That was it. I didn’t use anything I packed. But the retreat, taught by nuns, was on shame and guilt. I ended up learning so much. Bottom line is shame and guilt is of the Devil. Awareness, acceptance and forgiveness is of the light (God). This last relapse cost me $1000’s but I’m picking myself up, holding my head up, doing a lot of damage control and being thankful that I didnt die (with all the fetenyl/ Heroin shit going around).

Lori Waggoner -Thanks for sharing that. It’s true. The devil accuses us day and night the Bible says. All that shame and guilt was on the cross. It’s a done deal.

Fly under the radar. When the temptations come... stay in the gray area. You don't have to be perfect all the time or bad all the time... just stay even keel... and that's being perfect brah and that'll keep you from having too much anxiety. I'm kinda a perfectionist too and I use to come down hard on myself for not kicking ass in something or for not doing what I know's the correct decision to make. The root of our problem is all in our brain bucket that originates from our heart. Yes, If we know we have this addiction behavior, we'll let's just keep sailing thru it - on an even keel... nice an steady... moving forward, not necessarily straight:) God Bless you. V for victory .. day 57 Yaaallll! for me! Over 9 months for You!, yaaalll!

You’re doing great ! I love watching your videos ... I’m on day 18 and my anxiety is still lingering . I have my episodes where I feel like I’m going crazy but they only last about 30 minutes now then I’ll have to RESET . It’s been really hard lately .. I have a 2 month old and today we found out that he’ll have to have surgery on his throat this week because of his laryngomalacia....thank you for making these videos . Believe it or not they really do help me calm down when I feel like I’m going crazy . PS i developed a sparkling water addiction after watching your videos ! Lol 😂

Stephanie Sandoval hang in there. That 1st month can be ruff cause of getting no sleep. One day at a time - it gets better n better. I'm on day 58 clean and am been getting sleep since day 30 and continues to get better most days of the wk. 4 hrs straight thru sometimes less and sometimes more but it's better than being addicted to Subs and having that crutch constantly - God Bless you and your child going thru surgery. Take care

You're more than back to normal man. I did not know you before Suboxone but I can tell that your personality is definitely above average personality and you have a great attitude and are definitely a happy person. People coming off subs would kill to be able to feel the way you feel now Im sure

I also got that All or Nothing personality bro. When i used Subs i ate like a mfkr (sodas, oreos, chocolate) you name it. And I didnt reflect on it when i was medicated. I miss the happiness still but hoping to get the high of life soon. Take care man 🙏

How are you Gabe, day 32 for me, I am getting better. Biggest problems know are crazy body fatigue, Shitty sleep and chills in the mornings for some reasons. Also still sneezing a lot. Emotions are waking up too. Your a steady manic bro, but that's cool your a good guy. You were born an Olympic caliber addict, just like Usain Bolt can run like a mother :)

How long is the Body fatigue last? Gabe I kind a messed up I’m back up at 2 mg I keep saying I will change tomorrow. I’m beating myself up! I need to get back on track. I don’t know if you made a video on acute withdrawals, but maybe you could refresh us on how long they will last. Are used to think my panic attacks were low blood sugar, I was withdrawing the whole time. This was before I got on Suboxone. What a joke. I went to doctors had cardio stress test Wore a monitor for 24 hours. I had no clue It was with drawl. I really do want to be on the other side.

Hey Gabe another comment, I did EMDR It’s a form of therapy check it out it really works. However I’m an old fart so it’s about time I get where my addiction comes from😂

DA S hi what dose did you jump at? I don’t know if I could take feeling shitty after 32 days! What was your taper schedule? Good luck to you. It seems like you’re doing well otherwise did you stop working? There’s no way I could work on you those conditions and I have to work. I would have to time it out😬
@das87714 жыл бұрын
@@lauriep3547 Hey what your feeling is fear, the thought of going through withdrawals keeps us on Soboxone. Soboxone withdrawl is not as bad as opiates or methadone, however it does have longer lingering effects. Taper down to 0.25 mgs before you jump. If your on 2 go down in increments of .25. Take a week or two before you drop again. Pick a date, make sure you have no commitments for 2 weeks and jump off. You can do this, do not worry about the lingering effects they are manageable.
@lauriep35474 жыл бұрын
DA S Thank you so much. I know I need to do yes it is fear and anxiety . How are your cravings? Also how long were you on Suboxone? For me it’s been over 3 years🙏🏻
