Good expo on the machine Bill. People moan and groan about key duplication prices not realising the cost of the machine. I have no doubt this machine is a pricy aqcuisition. Cheers:-)

Great insight into dimple key cutting machines...absolutely fascinating! I wish I had stuck with my engineering studies; I surely would have loved to design these kind of tools ⚙️🛠️...even if combustion engines are my first love. 😍 It's never too late to learn! 👍

Cool, never saw a dimple key cut before. How many different machines would a shop need to cover all the bases?
@billbacardi32626 жыл бұрын
Jake 1973 That's an awesome question my friend, you definitely need a good key tracer, a tubular cutter but nowadays they have machines that cut multiple different kinds of keys like dimple Keyz and stuff like that. But multi lock you can only use their machine to cut their keys brother.

@billbacardi32626 жыл бұрын
William Mancel Thanks for watching William my friend, and you're exactly right it's kind of like a drill press one side cuts the outer pin and one side because the inner pin brother

How does the side pins work exactly? Couldn’t somebody drill all fives holes on the side if they don’t know where the correct one is located? Or will drilling the incorrect side pin hole make the key not work in the lock. Thanks cool video.

I love how the mul t lock machine but i never work mul t lock how does number s on top work and how you determine the cuts to correspond the ping thanks
@billbacardi32625 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching sir, so the outer pins are determined by letters for their height and the inner pins are determined by numbers for their size. Hopefully this makes sense to you LOL.
