best regards for your valuable appreciation in your case, first of all verify the dc voltage at main dc capacitor then check low voltage power supply for 5 volt 15 -15 volt then check the current setting pot then verify the IGBT drive, if no drive is there then check control card aslo check video number 286, 287, 288, 289, 291, 292 & 293 every video is to discuss each sub section and its components and their function and its test troubleshooting

I received a single board. there was not any igbt. when i install 60T60 it doesn't do anything. when i install 60N60 its runs normally but igbt get hot within few seconds even bulb in series and without any load. do you have any idea what could be the season ? Thanks

I have this welding machine that doesn't weld. i noticed the IGBTs were gone. i have removed and replaced but it still not welding. on the multimeter at 200-ohms reading, the resistance is 20-ohm from gate to source even when mosfet are absent am i missing something

AS. please explain that why positive voltage to collector of the igbt and negative to the emitter? I mean we generally see the source connected to the emitter side of the transistors at the circuits. So it is supposed to be connected both positive and negative to the emitter side. but here this is different type connection.

yes we can. in welding machine the feedback is based on output current to convert it to voltage regulation, the feedback will be converted to voltage mode feedback

thank you for explanation. we have one problem in our smps. we have multiple output smps in our machine. when we check output side of smps, it was showing 15v dc but battery charging voltage is not coming. there is no short circuit in put side . i checked voltage at capacitor 313v coming. but chopper transformer output side is no voltage. i checked opto coupler voltage at 1.070 v coming may be problem in chopper transformer or how to check chopper transformer

I am little bit confused from your question, because you said multiple output transformer, you have 15 volt, you have no output, you have 1.07 volt on optocoupler input. many thanks are mixed together 1. if you find 1.07 volt on optocoupler that is the biggest proof that the smps controller and high frequency transformer is working good please send a picture to my WhatsApp 00962 79 1161 084

if you have excessive voltage that is due to pwm control card. when it's duty cycle will increase, then the output voltage will increase. it might be duw to the feedback network (operational amplifier connected with output current sense shunt resistor)
