@midnitesquirldog1 yes it sure was especially with what i made per hour in Florida at the time but i do still have brochures I've picked at the time or sent for them. Looking at these videos these are still beautiful cars. Part of me wants an older car such as this one but time will only tell.

@midnitesquirldog1 I find these at reasonable prices, a lot less price than when new. I'd buy one to drive & not sit anywhere as cars are meant to be. Otherwise I'll buy another Lincoln which looks will have to be newer, such as a Continental which i like & drive nice, or a MKT. I'm in no hurry to buy anyhow since I've been payment free since Sept when I paid of my 2006 Town Car. Thank you for the information. Cheers back to you! 🙂

paul patane yes! You picked all the years that had good engines. Its a shame 81-85’s had boat anchors under the hoods of those otherwise beautiful cars. 1986 and after the 307 5.0 was ok but too under powered. The chevy 5.0 and the 5.7 were definitely a huge improvement.

This is when Cadillacs were the Pinnacle of luxury. Today they are just not and can't hold a candle to these. I'm living for the Triple burgundy color. It just screams class and elegance. The looks 8 would get driving this in south Florida would be epic. You rarely see these in this shape. I'd give anything to have one like this!

@@quinnisquinn9502 the LT1 can be trouble if the opti spark goes bad like if moisture gets in and cause engine to not start or stop running if already started. There are replacement modified aftermarket opti spark units that would fix it the moisture problem by allowing moisture to escape.

@@nathanlewis5682 The Buick and Cadillac already had the vented version of the Opti-Spark from year one (1994) unlike the Corvette and Camaro which did not vent theirs until 1996.

Although I prefer the body and trim of the 1990-1992 Broughams. I prefer the engine from the 1994-1996 Fleetwoods. If you want the lesser of both worlds, get a 1993 Fleetwood.

Would be nice if one would roll off the assembly line brand new in 2020. But according to the government regulations, this beautiful masterpiece built by Cadillac is dangerous, for the lack of airbags, crush zones and other modern required safety features. They would unfortunately never be allowed to make something like that today, no matter how much these land yachts are sought after by car enthusiasts and collectors alike. Btw you hit a deer in this old Cadillac, car probably still drivable with no major damage. A new Cadillac, probably major damage to total loss. When i was a young boy in the 1990's, probably 8 or 9 my mother had a 1986 Buick regal, i remember it was long but not sure that it was as long as this 1992 Cadillac, she hit a deer on her way to pick me up from my classmates house after a birthday party and it split the deer right in two, and the car was still drivable as far as i can remember 😁

I don't spend my money to watch it and glout about see what I have. I drive it. Oh well there will be more. I'm looking for a triple wht now. This virus slowed my money flow from my estate , the courts must issue my money each month from an inheritance 15,000 for life but the courts are shut. Not that I need $$ just that is my play have fun buy things cash flow. So I will continue to look. Shame that one got away.
