This is a Honda MSX 125 (GROM in some countries). 125cc.

If bikes are left over night at workshop, who can know if any original parts have not been swapped with non original parts?

Exterior parts are easy to spot. Interior parts will need more observations. U might want to look for signs traces of labour (e.g. grease finger prints, deformation of screws etc). It's important to find a trustworthy workshop if you wish to send in for a long duration fix/repair.

It's more likely that the workshop charge u for job that is not done than swapping bad parts (as swapping involved labour). I experienced that onces many many years ago for oil filter and spark plugs replacement.

@@zwc888 More discerning younger people like you can do all this but not the elderlies or more naive or innocent people. I am not suggesting that some parts turn up overseas and returned to sg to happy customers who went for "cheap" repairs somewhere. Wink

@@zwc888 Bikes are easier to check since its lighter and smaller than cars. The undersides of cars is almost impossible to check by many layman. So thanks to your video i am sharing my views about workshops in general. Of course, i dont know what is the truth.

@@zwc888 Yes, there was once they asked me, this engine oil or that. Then i chose the better one. He said he very busy i need to put there and then come back after i go coffeeshop. When i returned, its done. I did not want to show i am picky so i dont want to ask to see the bottle he opened. Actually, engine oil if changed monthly or regularly, the vehicle owner wont notice a thing even if another grade of oil is put in or there was no oil changed. Engine oil even if black engine still runs like normal. Slightly warmer. How to tell by layman? I wanted to check the engine oil dip stick. But he tightened untill so tight i unable to open. Is that a sign? Wink. Of course, i am not saying that happened. To verify everything is not practically possible. And this is why opportunities always exist for such things. If the boss is the one doing for you, his reputation at risk. In most cases , the employee doing it. Wink. Want some incentives for work? Wink. What some extra bonus? Wink. Not happy with boss? Wink.
