Hi! Local here. Really enjoyed your video! Btw, after the first 10 years, actually there are 3 options. The 3rd one is that you can buy another 'COE' for 5 years instead, for roughly half the cost of full 10 years COE. But the downside is that after the 15th year, you have to scrap or car/bike. But if you go for the 10 years, you can keep on renewing for 10-20 or for how many more decades you want. But if im not wrong, after the 30th year, you have to convert you car/bike to a classic scheme, the ones with the yellow/red registration plate. Like the vespa shown earlier in your vid.

If you're referring to the COE , its been around for decades. And yes, for context, the public transport is significantly effevtive, however, it isnt favoured for day to day necessary life for working people. The overcrowding and uncomfortable journey and delays that are constantly caused by rush hour is physically draining. Not to mention, most business districts are very, very far away from people's homes, so you can easily spend 2 or 3 hours travelling per day, in a country that's barely 60km wide.

Thanks for taking us along your journey Freddie, always nice to experience new cultures, just a suggestion could you put a USD conversion amount from UK currency on the bottom of the screen or just verbally mentioning it so viewers like me in the US can make something of prices, thank you.

At 11:00 an international licence is not needed for hiring a bike but rather is needed when you make a claim on medical insurance after suffering a crash. 🤕

Love singapore and want to go back even though it is expensive, They have high tax on new cars in singapore reason for empty roads maybe, And they have a great underground which helps.

Me, too. Very looking forward to these episodes to see glimpses of how it changed. Good.a/c in the underground too, and the only I have ever seen with plexiglas separations towards the track (for safety and climate control).

Singapore feels like a vision of the future. The friendliness and respect the locals have for everything is something I’ve never seen before.

£250. I wonder what another garage would charge. Thing is you already pay a premium fee to get the bike but the pinging costs are even more important for the dealers to get right. Sometimes times feel they are laughing at us. I service my own aswell, best way 👍

the umbrella is really useful. I burned 2 screens from direct sunlight.

Not many would know but Bajaj used to make licensed Kawasakis in '90s. So the avenger is the successor to the Kawasaki eliminator 125 - with a bigger engine and slightly updated looks. Pulsar is their own model tho.

Welcome to Singapore and hope your trip was eventful. The vehicle Tax and COE are 2 different things Each vehicle is taxed between 100%-320%, these still need a COE to be on the road. 80-120k for the COE for cars
