FYI the English voice actor has been voicing one of the main characters (Lyria) forever so she's already been in the game and yes she voices 2B again. It's crazy how different she sounds voicing these two.

It really is just a fundamentally good toolset that when put up against the rest of the cast in both games feels unstoppable. The trailer gave me SC6 PTSD so I instantly saw the upcoming chaos

Having different moves for each normal strength tier, really surprised me. But for the legacy of what I like to call “Platinum May Cry” hack-&-slash games, it’s absolutely fitting that 2B has a toolset as varied as UMvC3/I Dante from the Devil May Cry series.

As fan service-y as the self destruct move is, that can be hella useful in situations were your 1 life up on your opponents last, but your at low health and at risk of losing advantage. You could stun them, then throw out your gravity well before the can get back up, and esentially lock them in a kill room-esk trap. The fact that its both unblockable and cant be interupted might be 1 of the reasons why her gravity well was put in to begin with, the other being a option to extend combos on moves that would normally kick oppenents out of your range mid to late-combo.

it's fairly impractical unless the opponent just doesn't know about it, since you're always able to spot dodge it, and gravity doesn't change your jump height. probably the best use for it is on reaction to certain characters' supers, since some of them are long enough to get hit by self destruct if you do it right after the superflash

I just finished playing her with friends and as someone who's been playing GBVS since vanilla, trying to play with the knowledge that you're using a bar for specials and not cooldowns is definitely the hardest thing to get my head around. She's incredibly fun, either way, though - definitely feels right at home, visually, alongside the rest of the cast.

The white outfit is an ascended meme of sorts. Originally just a pallete swap in Soul Calibur 6, she sort of became her own character in Dark Apocalypse (FF14) and goes out to become an unholy amalgamation of Yoko Taro's baddest bitches. (only with that Yoko Taro flair for twisting otherwise positive things into pure nightmare fuel)

I actually thought Hero's Kamikaze in Smash would've operated in a similar way. But yeah, she looks fun, but has a million moves compared to the other GBVS characters.
