Imagine yourself as a lonely fresh juvie trike and 2 full grown apex stomps near you and heading towards the bush that you're hiding at and then it suddenly rains and they stop walking just as they're about to reach your bush and stood there for a few seconds, and you're only option is to wait, pray and listen as they communicate to each other like they know you're there hiding and mocking your scared self and suddenly does a 1 call only to walk pass you. I just tried to put what I experience into words and I hope I conveyed it properly. :D I just love this game!

Ahh, the anky. One of my best The Isle memories comes from an epic battle with an anky. It was back in the day when you ate antire trees as herbivores on V3 and the first carnivore you could choose was an albino dryo. I were an allo and in a group. We found an anky at triplets and decided to try and kill it. Considering the anky could one shot us, and we had to hit it like 50 times, this was a very stupid idea. But we did it anyways. We lost 2 out of 7 allos. And i almost became the third. I saw an opening in the anky's defence and went for it, and it resulted in me, the allo and the anky all alone, walking around in circles on top of eachother. If i tried to get out of the spin, i would get hit and die, so i commited with a pulse of 130 and kept myself in the loop. We spun around eachother, the anky tail was barely out of reach, but my theeth weren't. After about half a minute of constant spinning around and spamming the attack button in panick, it actually died. I bit it probably 20 times, before it went down. That was the most stressfull thing i have ever done, and it made another amazing Isle memory to store with the countless others.

Anky used to be stronger, rex and anky killed each other in 4-5 bites back during prog. Anyky had leg break so it did bonus damage. Plus the anky broken leg waddle was faster than rex broken leg waddle. It's now super weak since it can't shatter any bones. :(

Yea those devs are smoking crack. They sat there saying it isn't a viable choice because it's too slow and lacks a way to defend itself from bigger carnivores. Meanwhile irl stego's weren't any faster and ankys smacked Rex's and sent them packing with a broken leg or jaw and had defenses that made it nearly impossible for anything to touch them, especially big carnivores that can't get underneath it. In reality they should be the absolute toughest thing in the game to kill, let alone 1v1 (obviously not including pue).
