Baby Anos (or "potatoes" as they're affectionately called) tend to be well-liked and fawned over by other players, which is why several encounters didn't kill you or even gave trophy gifts. Unfortunately the opposite is true for adult Anos lol

Ig there needs to be someone to force people to all be the same species or all carnivores or all herbivores if they want to play together. Tbh idk what to think about it. I used to be a solo player but now I play with a large group of friends. And often people don’t all want to be the same Dino, and the mega pack thing I mean what are we supposed to do about that? Just kinda deny people they can’t play with us because it wouldn’t make it fair for the solo players? But at the same time I was solo once so I can understand the frustration, but at the end of the day it’s not all bad. Atleast PoT has a very minimal death penalty.

You can’t really exclude that from the isle either. I’ve seen large packs of like 5 dienos. In the isle everyone’s too busy trying to not to die because they don’t want to loose the entire Dino. But in pot since death is minimal not a lot of people will care if they die.

Before you comment, just note what you’re about to say has probably already been said about 50 times by now. New lessons learned: - Community servers are better - I used hunker down improperly (stems from forgetting about strafing), and I DO know how to use it now, and that fortify isn’t as useful - People just hate anodontos - People provide noice advice;)

And one more, you pick the wrong dino to wander around IC. 😂 Solo anodontosaurus tends to get bullied, like a lot. People simply hate the playable, because they tends to mixpack, bonebrook you and leave you to suffer from his dirty mixpack buddies work, watch out for albino Ano or Melanin ano. Another case was because it was challenge to kill skilled ano players, Ano used to be so OP before the patch, it literally need 10-15 minutes killing an Ano with 4 adult Rex, 2 died in the process 😂.

That's because PoT is actually an RPG games. Mixpacking are encouraged in the game even on their system itself. That's why many scouts roles and healers roles got voice ability to enhance/buff or to heal member of their groups regardless of their species. The game is built and focused on having various meta group compositions to hunt dinos or Wage war with other groups efficiently Roles on PoT are Tanks, Damage dealers, Scouts, Supports, and Healers. Tanks consist mostly of Apexes with high damage outputs, high health points, high endurance, and high defence, but lacking Flexibility and manouverability. Their job is to safeguard their injured groupmates (mostly damage dealers). Damage dealers mostly consist of Apexes to Mid tiers dino that has status effect attacks (bleed, venom, and bonebreak), their job is to weaken enemy healthpoints with bleed, venom, or bonebreak. Scouts mostly consist of mid tiers to low tiers Speedy dino that had a lot of stamina. Their job is to Scout the area, find target, chasing weakened enemies that flees, prevent them to regenerate their health. Support are mostly fliers, their job is to assist other groupmates by latching to other groupmates to buff them (rhamporinchus) or to provide other aerial attacks. Healers are dino with abilities to heal others group members. Its not exactly healing but fasten the regeneration rate by 10 fold if Im not mistaken. But yeah, generally the healers job are to keep the group members on top condition to fight or hunt.

That being said, Solo Players are most likely experience hell playing on official servers of Path of Titans because all those servers controlled by many clans playing/working together. That's why they invented community servers, many community servers are rules based to make gaming experience less depressing and toxic.

@@EthanCD3107 Probably because the lawless nature of officials creates a situation for them where their numbers provide so much benefit since most of their opposition will be smaller, less toxic friend groups and solos. Solos especially suffer because they can't do much of anything especially when it's very common for clan members to have their backup dinos ready to return to the same spot just to teabag you when they inevitably wear you down. You're effectively fighting an army all by yourself and they have the audacity to say "ez" like ofc it was ez for you, officials favor clans by their very design.

I mean I play with a discord. It’s not really considered a clan or any sort of well known discord. It’s just a large friend group and we just hang out and help each other grow. We still fight but we aren’t one of those groups where we try and keep calling in more people to fight others.

its not just the improper use of hunker/x turn, it's also that he put on all stamina sucking attacks. Should always keep the basic attack that uses no stamina, so you dont become sitting.. potatoes.. from venom.

Note neither bonebreak takes stam, it just so happens that the main way you deal damage takes stam. Charge Bonebreak is better in groups and against Apexs, Small one is better solo and for small things (much harder to avoid, and can let ya tack on a cheeky tail slam afterwards). For apex hoards you know you can’t win against, just hunker till full stam, bonebreak and waddle like hell. You are slow but have extremely good stam, so as long as ya just bonebreak ya can get away. The AoE on Ano is nuts and outranges every attack in the game, so best bet if you can’t hunker is circle around and slam. Best to do with a buddy so that you can get stam back when needed though.

Glad you're having fun with PoT! :D Never tried The Isle but I'll have to give it a shot one day. Officials are fun! Growing takes forever, but having no rules is nice and questing feels very rewarding. If I had to recommend a community server to play on though, I would recommend Velocci's Realm. Modest growth times and not too many rules, but just enough rules so that mixpacking and third partying will largely be a thing of the past. Only issue is that it's in Germany, but if you don't mind that then you should have a great time! :0 This video was awesome, by the way! I laughed out loud multiple times.

The most important rule of Path Of Titans is; There are no rules, it's a full PvP game where your only goal is to grow to fight and fight to grow, there is no survival, herbivores don't need meat but they still hunt (And before they were more aggressive because there were no carnivores that could stop them).

Unless you are not a fan of rules/semi realism/rp servers then I would highly recommend unofficials over official servers for PoT (there are way more active options than on the Isle). Officials dont have passive growth and are just godawful with the amount of clans/mega mixpacking - I wouldnt even bother playing if its weren't for the unofficial servers. *+ More dinosaur options with mods

The system allows carnies from other species to join other carnies group with different species to make various meta group that efficient to either hunting or Wage war with other groups, because each dino got different ability and traits to them. In the case of "true mixpacking" as you mention above is indeed always happened in many hotspots. But how can you tell that the ducks is suchos friend? Or the Megs are also suchos friend? In this chaos, every Players tend to attack weakest dino, or dino whos attacking someone first. And you should know that adult anodontosaurus is really hated because their bonebreak ability and their ridiculous defence when hunker down. Solo ano Players tend to get bullied because they slow and hard to be killed when hunker down.

Broooo this is almost uncanny. It feels very accurate to how the switch from the isle to pot is. Also don't listen to anyone about community servers. They act like those don't exist in the isle, and surprise surprise they are exactly the same. Admin abuse, stupid rules, micromanagement, bloodbath worse than officials... but i mean you grow faster I guess? Pick your poison type of thing. Some servers are really fun like Crimosn Semi Realism. There are a few dumb rules in the server but you grow decently fast and I never have ever heard admin abuse on that server. Most people follow the rules except on server 2. (DONT GO TO SERVER 2). The mods are nice too and the rules aren't broken too often.

Tip to Ano, crouch to activate hunker down and stay that way, you take heavy reduce dmg as long as you stay that way and you can’t move or it’ll deactivate, what people like to do is Hunker and use percise movement to move around in a circle without needing to move at all. If this helps!

But as far as community servers go, Echoed Ark semi-realism is really good, Lonely Isle, and Islander semi-realism are all pretty good. And for a starter dino, I think that Ceratosaurus is a good option, but if we do a collab I’m willing to play whatever and I can show you the ropes!

Imma be real with you, community/nodded servers are better then offical. There are usually rules and if something happens, you can usually get your growth back and have fun with the admins depending on whether or not you like realism or semi realistic servers. There are also no rules servers or very few rules. Theres a lot to offer and while PoT community has it's fair share of toxic player, there are a lot of friendly people. Especially on community servers where there are chat rules. Tho gameplay stuff for ano: -you take more damage out of hunker (obviously) -when in hunker you can precise turn so you have more control over your ano and can hit people better -with the recent updates, sarcos can grab a lot of dinos, including anos so be careful around water, ano arent the best swimmers lol -sitting makes it so you take x2 attack damage, sleeping leaves you x4 vulnerable -when grabbed by a hatz or sarco, press jump to wiggle and drain their stam! -try different dinos to test out what play style you prefer! You can be small and fast but a little weak, an apex that is slow but powerful or a mid tier dino that has medium speed and special attacks!

Community servers a give passive growth multiplayer servers dont. I dont like the wered squeaky voice. A good server is jurassic hub for fun idk one for realism tho i dont like those servers not fun. You can presice turn otherwise you dont get the huge defence buff from ano when crouching bc your moving presice turn wont remove the affect bc your staying in one place. I can teach you the ways of the dinosaur. (In path of titans). No discord on channel description... not sure what to do.

I realize that you dont really use the precise turning, its really your best friend as an anky as you can crouch.and get the hunker down ability which pretty much makes you invincible, just remember its x to use the.precise movement. (Nvm i saw the end and nbasically learnt your mistakes lol)
