I had this moment with God today when thanking him for my husband. I feel deeply that we are no longer Obessed with each other, and I'm not even sure our marriage is built on love anymore. We changed the foundation to trust and communication which has made all the difference in giving us the strong relationship we need. I love him, more than almost anyone (kids don't count) and I actively choose him first (even over the kids) everyday. We built something stronger than love could ever create.

this pod is so wholesome and what I envision all relationships to be (vulnerable and affirming) these qualities are very rare and I recognize these are my own short comings and want to correct within myself but I find myself in the moments of anger/rage blaming others for my anger and my actions when I know I can control my actions and ONLY retrospectively have regret. I love to hear your banter/your love and realness (if that is a word) the fakeness of social media and dating apps (not that they are 100% connected) makes me want the human connection but knowing my short comings and those of others make me hesitant to put myself out there and try again at the risk of losing more of myself and more hurt even though I know I am also the cause of some if not most of that hurt

Some men don't cry. I have only seen my Dad cry twice, one calmly at his moms funeral and once when I showed him a picture of me holding his hand during his one week medically induced coma after he had a heart attack during open heart surgery. This man who is a rock, still is one of my rocks, Ugly cried from the pain of seeing his baby girl going through something that stressful. It takes true extreme situations for some men to cry. Also I have only see my husband cry once, it was at our wedding during the first look and it was like two tears. 😅

My husband has adhd we learned effective communication things are so much better and it is a super power as he can go to work and still be active big time around the house and help me out because they always have to be busy and doing stuff so this medical disorder is a benefit to any partner it is so helpful 😊 I love and embrace his super power it is truly amazing

31:44 I definitely relate to this regarding BPD. My sister(s) also likely have BPD but didn't get DBT for it, and I think the DBT is a really huge factor in how you can leverage the pros of BPD for success. I definitely agree with that passion pushing progress though. It's funny though, I never actually realized I had BPD, I just did the therapy I was required to do when active duty. It wasn't until I looked into my medical records more since watching the pod that I realized just what it was I was dealing with and the therapies I had. Honestly knowing *what* the therapy I had was, and knowing the diagnosis I've had, has also made a difference in how I've been able to progress. I'm still me, still using the same coping mechanisms learned from the therapy, but now I know the "whys" and such, which means I approach things differently. Yet another way the pod helped lol. Ty both. ❤

Happy birthday the es that is peach lol. I used to be really fit before I met my bf 4 years ago and I let myself go, gained 50 pounds and for a 5’2 person that was a lot to me. I lost all of that last year and have fluctuated this year. We are finally back in the gym, I’m tired of how I look and he hates how skinny he got. He is gaining weight and I think I’ve lost 2 pounds lol. It’s progress. Keep on keeping on y’all it’s a process ❤
