Personally I think verses 4-5 are in reference to those followers of David who were discouraged by what was going on but regardless of whom David was speaking to here, the point remains the same: turn to God, because God is good. Great study brother! Keep it up!

Verses 4-5: "Be Angry...meditate...be still...offer...trust" are all plural imperatives in the Hebrew. So, David is saying, "Y'all be Angry...y'all meditate..." and etc. So, however you interpret the Psalm, I'm thinking that at the very least David wasn't talking to himself. 🙂 Thank you for the video!
