Hi Luke, I don’t comment on social media often but I have been following since you started the book of Genesis. I’ve made this my daily study and I can’t tell you how much it has has enriched my life and deepened my relationship with Christ as I learn in detail about Him through your consistent daily Bible chapter studies. I am enjoying Psalms now as I can look back at the previous books and remember those stories and how they relate. It really is all coming together and I am so grateful for this hunger I have for learning about God and his character. I just wanted to encourage you to keep going even on the days when it may seem overwhelming that what you are doing is important and so many people like myself are being blessed.

Great application. On a side note, I had to think back who it was that killed David's son Absolam and I couldn't remember at first but remembered it started with a J and it made me think of you saying something like "yep, another name that starts with a J" from 2 Kings lol It was Joab, David's commander of the army, that did him in and he disobeyed David's orders. I know it's not an easy thought, but a part of me thinks Joab did the right thing even if it was a tough loss for David.

While it is not a full reference. My mind goes to the armor of God. Ephesians 6 During verse 3.
