I don't know what he is doing, but I have the same ones and max volume shakes the house. BTW I use pc and about 10/100 volume is normal talking volume.

@@BudgeTechReviews You can buy these at Dollar Tree for $5 when they're in stock. The mistake you made with these speakers is that you plugged them into an USB hub which restricts the volume and quality of sound (usb ports on a computer 5 volts @ 500ma = 2.5 watts at best, but then your computer port is plugged to hub which even lowers what power it can draw unless the hub is powered). If you really want to see how well it performs, plug it into one of the charge ports from a phone charger 2A (making it 10 watts) or 2.4A (making it 12 watts) which would eliminate the static, increases volume, cleans up the mids, and believe it or not it has some but not great bass (beats the Logitech S120s easily).

They are powered by USB, I connected the audio 3.5mm jack to a phone.

@@BudgeTechReviews exactly, but reread what I posted, don't power any usb powered speakers through a hub or port of a computer, always from a dedicated power brick or a power strip with a 2.4A usb port.

If your still wondering, u have to plug the USB side in ur xbox or a wall plug. Then put the aux side to ur controller
