I have the yikong version of this and I love it. Lots of fun. I also have the regular trophy truck brother of this one and it is equally good. I use these tires on my Traxxas Max Slash and they seem to work well on it. Great video as always!!

Man, this thing looks like an absolute beast! Big scale, and super Derbable. To take that punishment in 12 degree temps and not break any plastic bits is super impressive. Even as a Ford guy, for some reason, I'm just not crazy about the look of this body. It kinda looks like an oversized New Bright body or something. Overall though, well done ROChobby!

That is pretty cheap for a 1/7th scale. I can't think of a cheaper 7th scale, can you? Even Arrma's cheapest 7th scale is $650 (Felony) and the Big Rock (less complex construction than a desert racer) is $700 I was surprised this FMS wasn't more than $550. It's tied for the cheapest large scale (7th and larger) with the Losi Promoto ($550 without a battery version) Unless there are some other 7th scale (electric) options I'm missing, this FMS is cheap for its size. (Geez, I really hope I'm not turning into one of THOSE RC snobs) but even my 8th scale Team Corally cost more than this FMS, and mine is smaller (that's what she said?) I think this FMS is a fine value for its scale. And I'm usually one to whine about prices. Just look at how much I make fun of Traxxas for being more expensive than 1:1 scale cars.

The Losi Hammer Rey had been thoroughly disappointing until it's first snow bash. The high ground clearance made it my funnest snow machine. This appears to handle considerably better. It's seems to be what I thought the Hammer Rey would be.

I haven’t had a losi at all yet, but this handled amazing! I had my Mojave 4s in the snow last year and this definitely handled better than that, though it’s also an awesome car.

Tougher than the UDR and higher quality than anything Losi turn out these days (I say that as a Losi fan, their race stuff is still amazing but unfortunately the cheaper fun end has become very expensive and lower quality over the last decade or so) so it's a useful mix of the two. Suspension is insane and I haven't managed to damage it in about a year of ownership (have a Yikong DF7, same truck different brand). For the money it's a storming deal as the only comparitive things are north of 800 dollars.

Thanks man! She has good taste in RC cars!’ I’m no gear expert but I’d say it’s rather low, especially for a 1600kv. The spur gear is massive at 63 teeth and MOD1. Motor pinion is either a 12 or 13T. The diffs are 33T/13T and are MOD1.25 and spiral cut steel 😱.

Sold my Kraton 4s, bought the Losi SBR2.0 I think that was the best decision I've ever made. I couldn't be more happy with it though i did bend I thought the axle but a wheel and it wobbles a little

I've been yearning for a solid rear axle IFS setup to come out stock forever. Ever since they discontinued the Yeti I feel like there has been a massive gap in the market. The Losi options are cool but far too expensive for my tastes. The SCX10ii conversion kit is sweet and I was about to build one. I'm gonna buy one of these instead. 🤣

Id love to see you get the Yikong TB7 version of this truck or possibly the Trophy Truck V3 platform that would be a great conparison video. Ive been really curious about yikong as a whole and the quailty of their rc's. The TB7 has been out for a while and its been in my cart for months now i just havent committed to the purchase yet lol but this thing looks amazing and it seems like it drives phenomenal you did a great review and showed that it can really handle some bashing even with the bent axel. Nothing an upgraded aluminum axel housing cant fix 🙌 you definitely helped lock in my choice to finally get this truck i just dont know if i should go with Yikong or Rochobby. From what I’ve seen so far, this FMS version is cheaper. Verify that before you order but everywhere I’ve looked so far at the tb7 it has been. I’ve got the FMS link in the description. An RTR with a Hobbywing setup and a Dumbo radio. A 7th scale for less than $600. FMS isn't playing around. 0:40 "don't you dare" 🤣 2:40 yeah, for some reason the Max 8 (and the Mamba Monster X) don't come with a jumper plug for the ESC. Which is absurd. I cut the second plug off and did a terrible soldering job to patch the cable, but it doesn't get hot, it just looks like dog shite, and I covered it up with a giant heat shrink tube and a unicorn sticker.

We Can Hop he Bush (And So Can You!) They did do a comeback album! Like a year or two ago and already have another in the works I think. It’s no chocolate starfish but it’s not awful lol
