Amen, good advice Pastor Skeete to especially young people about relationships. Sometimes when young ladies have these many children and can’t take care of them, they sometimes become a menace to society. I knew that Jeremiah and Paul weren’t married but I didn’t thought about Daniel and Jesus. Singleness is sometimes a blessing.

I was an SDA and left SDA because of pain and suffering, unbiblical teachings like the doctrine of the sanctuary and investigative judgment, Bible contradicting teachings of E.G. White and witchcraft that I was subjected to.

Pastor Skeete, where there is one hole in a person's teaching there are many. Where in the Bible did it say that Adam ate an apple?

Figure of speech. It was a fruit that was forbidden. Many ppl think apple as a fruit most are familiar with but no we don't know which fruit it was. God must have his reason for not naming it. It may not even still be with us today. May be it will be in the new Eden, but like the trees of Life and of Knowledge, it is likely not with us, as it was a part of that tree (knowledge). Anyway, you should pray not to miss the forest for the trees. The pastor is not perfect and did excellent answering a marathon amount of questions and quotations from his head. If he has a minor slip of the tongue, he is human and it should not be used to disparage his other good work. So he called the fruit an apple. Maybe you want to visualize it as a mango instead.

As you rightly said, God did not name the fruit so why would I want to visualize it as a mango? That is how people spread false propaganda by putting their own spin on things or by a "slip of the tongue".

Hi Pastor, I am a sda member in Jamaica. My husband and I have been separated for almost 2 years. I love my husband very much, but he lives in Canada and wishes not to speak to me he doesn't take care of me when he comes to Jamaica he doesn't visit us I have a son for him also, I need your help I pray for him all the time, I was the one who invented to the church he got baptise

Take that issue up with your local pastor or write into a church organization for counsel where you can reach someone to ask for specific counsel, not in a comments section such as this. As Pastor Skeete suggested, read your bible (to see the requirements of biblical standing for marriage), check the church manual on the matter (maybe you can write your conference) and make your decision with prayer. It sounds like your husband has abandoned you and your son. If he doesn't help you or the child and has cut all communication and lives a life of which you are not apart, he is probably committing adultery (you may be able to find this out, since you know when he travels) and then you can file for divorce. However, it sounds like you don't want to take that step because you still love him. You mentioned that he is in the church. You can contact the conference at the church he goes and tell the leadership of his abandonment (if you can find out the church in Canada) and for sure, you can tell the conference of which you both belong in your country and they will direct you on how to proceed. You seem to have too choice, divorce him or remain in separation and pray for God to change his heart and return him to you. Either way, you need to seek God's will in prayer and fasting. God knows what he is doing and the condition of his heart. If God wants to bless you and your son with a new life separate from him don't block that, but not making a decision. You not want to make the decision you already know you should. Ask God for guidance and strength to follow through.

I agree with Pastor Skeete, I think sex should not be done on the Sabbath day. Moses and Paul spoke against abstaining from sex at certain times like Fasting and Prayer & the Christian should be concentrating on the Service or services on the Sabbath.

Hi, I can see what Pastor Skeet meant. Like he stated, most weddings aren't really centered around God. Following the ceremony, there is a reception and non-Christ-like conversations, dancing, non-Christian music and so on. At a funeral though, most ministers during the eulogy, gives a sermon for the attendees to get their lives in order with God. It makes one reflect on the kind of life they're living if they're not living for God.
