They are both so so talented and both so gorgeous. Stjepan seems very shy in interviews yet his hands tell the tale that he just wants to be playing cello. Luka seems to be so more laid back and easy to talk to. They are both more talented than they will ever know and so entertaining to listen to and watch. They are a Godsend to me right now in this troublesome time in my life.

Andrey Manakov YES! This is the mark of a true artist, one who lives and breathes it, because it is in his soul! He understands the importance of it, why people NEED it, to grow and work towards their potential. I LOVE music, all kinds (except Rap, lol. Not music, imho!), and NEED it. I have played several kinds of instruments, but always fall back on singing, because my voice is always with me, I can take it wherever I go, and can use it on any whim, at any time I’m inspired to do so.😍

what does his sexuality have to do with anything? They are both very handsome. Luka is definately more introverted as a person. Stephjen(Sorry) is definately the more dominant personality. Its probably why they play so well together. Their personalities mix so well. Thats not to say one or the other is the more gifted player, or how one out shines the other. I just think they are so perfect together... you can imagine any girlfriend or boyfriend of theirs would be the "other woman/man"... Hahaha. but you are right I can nooot stop looking at Luka holy 😍 his accent soothes my soul.

I got hooked on cello from the Baroque period; many composers of that time seems to really bring out the cello - Bach, Vivaldi, Albinoni.

This is a great interview! Also, you really inspired me. I was around 5 or 6 when I discovered you and since then, I've been wanting to play cello. I really wanted to play but my mother told me that if I wanted to start music, I should start with piano because with piano, you see all the notes in front of you and see all the theory clearly. So she signed me and my sister up for piano a year later. During the time I was learning piano, I pretended to play cello in various forms. First, I made little grooves into a pencil with my father and used it as a bow on a ukulele. then, it was a regular pencil and a broom and this list continues for quite a while. Anyway, now I have been playing piano for around 2 years and cello for 4 months. In any case, without you, I wouldn't be so interested. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I love all the 2 Cellos interviews, because I'm always fun and laugh a lot.They are two young people of free spirit, and with a humour that works by natural impulses and very funny. Stjepan is more restless, his gestures reveal that characteristic, special his hands practice the sames movements of his Cello. Luka is more calm and serene, but very funny between serious and fun.Both complete each other. A big hug from Portugal Cascais.
