I went to their concert a couple of years ago (2017 I believe) and was absolutely blown away by how amazing they are! I had to go pee and they started performing this song. One person in the comments asked how the musicians hold back tears and emotions when people listening to it can't. I think it's because the emotions is flowing through the instruments they are playing and all the energy just enters us we have no where to let it go hence the tears. I remember when I was in 10th grade and we played this in Orchestra. My Orchestra director was known to just play classic music and never wanted to sway from that. But then we were asked to play in front of the entire High School for the Christmas assembly. We all sat down with him and told him that, for those that don't play an instrument, it would be boring. While Orchestra is beautiful, a lot of people just associate violins and cellos with 'boring' music. I told him we should team up with the band and play iconic movie music. We didn't want to bore people. After convincing the band teacher to join in (he was way cooler) that band teacher convinced our teacher. So for the entire High School, we played songs like 'Jurassic Park', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and then 'My Heart Will go On'. When we played Titanic, you could hear a pin drop after. I have never heard 2,000 15-18 year old's be so silent after something. That's how I knew they all felt it as much as we did. Beautiful moment. I'm not 25-years-old, living in an apartment in downtown, and haven't been able to really play violin since a High School concert. College roommates would be annoyed, and not apartment neighbors would. I hope in the next couple years I can get a house, pick it up, and start back up. I'll be rusty as hell, but I will not let myself forget how to play an instrument that I loved and trained with since 4 grade.
