Every video from these guys is like a mini movie, utterly amazing production value. 7 years on, and this video is still perfect. I've always been the "odd one" for listening to classical music and modern stuff like Thomas Bergersen, Audiomachine, ES Postumus and 2Cellos. Out of all the music I've tried to introduce people to, 2Cellos has by FAR had the most enthusiastic response. There's just something about the two of them and their overwhelming love of music and performing that people gravitate towards.

Many modern string players play with frayed bow strings as decoration to make it look like they are playing hard. Bows do not actually fray that much if at all.
@zerogray5947 жыл бұрын
Actually, bows can break pretty easily. The bow for my cello at school loses so much hair it's ridiculous. Just yesterday, my teacher and I were playing some of their music and I broke like 6 hairs. They don't break as much when playing softer pieces which is why you won't see bows losing hair often, but when you play really hard they break a lot. As for their bows, I heard once that they go through 3 bows a day. I don't know if that's true but I could totally believe it
@odinstrike25987 жыл бұрын
Zero Gray You're probably right. I'm a violinist so I was assuming bow hairs would break on a cello bow as much as a violin's. 3 bows a day sounds expensive.
@zerogray5947 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Hamilton That's totally understandable. If I didn't play cello I probably would have thought the same. Cello requires more strength to play though, and when it comes to powerful double stops, it's way more taxing on the bow hairs. However, I will say that my bow at school is garbage, and so that probably has something to do with it. They definitely break more than you'd think, but not as much as my shitty bow does

God has a purpose out there for each and everyone of us. Through days of happiness, days of sadness, our disbeliefs and desires, we thank Jesus for he is shaping us, preparing us for the bigger things in life that he has in store for us. We may not see his works, but as each of us follow in his footsteps, our life is being built for a stonewall that would eventually be formed. Never give up even when the days seem bleak. Doctors may have diagnosed us with physical or mental illnesses, but we can trust in the Lord that he will one day vanquish those labels ascribed to us. Amen.
