To see them performing in the castle Marusevec in Croatia where I had a privillage to spent 7 years and change my life from that of crime to life of becoming a Christian during Communist Yugoslavia really touched me deeply. The room where majority of the video was filmed used to be my classroom in 1974.. the ceiling was the cedar wood from Lebanon, Italian tapestries in the background, the oak floor we cleaned every friday by hand.. first real love of the highschool... And "the shape of my heart" being played in the castle where my heart was shaped - is truly remarkable. Wow,

Thank you for keeping these videos in a group that was a sample of the first year of my obsession with 2Cellos, Luka Sulic, Benedetta Carretta, and last but not least,Stjepan Hauser. You will not believe this, but it is true, The first time I watched the release of the first video on this list ,I prayed that when you and Benedetta became the age of retirement you two would have become owners of a vineyard such as the one in which you were filming. It is still my prayer. If you want to know more call me on Wifi

Divine is the only word that comes to mind when I listen to your music while watching the video - the harmony between the sound and the sight is incredibly enhanced by a pair of clean-shaven cellists whose male beauty rivals with the beauty coming from their cellos... Thank you for blessing the world with God's most generous gift: you/2Cellos.

You have to listen to this again and again, so that the earworm will be ringing for many days even after that. The pizzicato together with the long strokes of the Cello makes cold shivers run along the body. Lovely bass sounds and sweet disgants! Healing music. Thanks! KIITOS!

Credit goes to Sting! Let's not forget that even though these two are both very good with the bows, they are just performers. The guy who actually composed this amazing tune is the real genius.

@zrinkajelic67158 жыл бұрын
Not every song is or can be adapted for cello. It still took some knowledge of music and notes they didn't just blatantly take this song and started preforming it. At least that's what your comment suggests.
@jorogeorgi8 жыл бұрын
No, Zrinka, that's NOT what my comment suggests. You misunderstood, either because you are subjective (your name suggests you're a Croat?) or because your English is not good enough (for instance, you used "blatantly" completely wrong). Anyway, my point was not to deny their talent - I like them a lot. But call them geniuses... surely distinction should be made between composer and performer, right?
@terisimpkins79877 жыл бұрын
A composer can write an incredible piece of music that may be played reasonably well. Take that same piece of music and let an extremely talented artist perform it and the song will sound 100% different. Not just better but different. That's what these performers do. They transform the song into something much better.
@janellekelley13198 жыл бұрын
As for the bows being expensive, it doesn't matter when you're professionals; you want the best. They probably get them FREE now anyways. These guys are geniuses. I've been to 3 of their concerts. I was able to talk to them, shake their hand and get their autographs each time. They are down to earth guys. They are funny and their goofiness makes them all that more adorable. That goes for Dusan too. He's a fantastic drummer. They all have that special chemistry. They make their cellos talk and their facial expressions show you just how passionate they are about their music. If you can ever make a live performance, I promise you...you WILL NOT be disappointed. I even have a FB friend in Croatia. I suggested she go to the free concert they were having there a couple of months ago. She loved them. She took her young boys with her. These guys are loved by the young and the old. They have inspired many to become future cellists. They usually start out with some slow music and work up to the frenzy. Then maybe a slow one in between as a breather, then on to more rock and roll. Their talent has no comparison.
