For those black spots and the green mould that hangs around the rear window I use 'Wet and Forget' - and it is ok for fabric hoods. I have used it now on the 3 VW Beetle cabriolets we have owned and also to remove stubborn mould marks on a blue Porsche Boxster. It doesn't remove the black spots immediately but over a few weeks with sunlight and rain, green mould goes in a couple of hours. I prefer to use Johnsons baby shampoo and that does a good job. I see someone else has used 303 protector and I have used it this year on the fabric sun roof on our Twingo - it too works well
@iliaslamari73155 жыл бұрын
A softtop roof really is an extra maintenance thing that people forget about. Because of the UV lighting and hot temperatures, it starts to become hard and less flexible. Also, you don't wanna get mold on it so wash your roof with roof shampoo and conditioner every year or so. To keep it fresh, leak free and flexible. Wen are you going to polish the Skoda? That thing really needs to shine again!

I've been using 303 Fabric Guard on my soft-tops for years. While it is a premium price, the results are first class. Highly recommended. 303 also make a fabric cleaner which I'm led to believe is very effective at removing grime.

I use the Nik Wax products on my outdoor jackets, including the exact ones you have used. To be honest even on jackets which don't get anything like the weather bashing of a car roof they still require a re application every 6 months and the waterproofing is visibly reduced (by observing the water beading on the fabric) after a much shorter period of time.

Ian if you want a better phone (auto focus) you need to understand on how AF works. Standard it focusses on the closest object with ENOUGH contrast. If you can bypass that protocol you got gold in your hands if you understand on how to put that to use. Buying just any other phone might not solve your issues.
@HubNut5 жыл бұрын
I can't see any controls for auto focus on this app. The standard app won't work with an external microphone so I've had to download a different one.

@@HubNut Try another app or buy into a camera like maybe Panasonic (micro fourthirds) system is popular amongst vloggers. Please research a bit so you get want you want. Manual controls are imho mandatory. I take pictures only in manual so I get the camera (in my case pictures) to do what I want it to do. This also goes for light metering!
