Simply insert the key into the mask on the upper Black Solid layer in ShapeAlpha comp (ShapeAlpha_S). At first, make this mask smaller to the bottom and raise it in an original form after about a second, so it looks like a fire is created. If you don't understand, please leave a comment again.

I also didn't understood. He did ctrl Z many times for the motion blur, instead of just changing the value. There may be a reason I'd like to know. It doesn't change that the video is good, even without commentaries
