Now I need to export the parts as DXF files with layer mechanisation naming.

Creating a DXF export is on my list. I will have an automated way to create these files for the Home Builder cabinets.

Yeah it should be possible to export svg, but most cnc platforms that I am familiar with use DXF to generate the GCode. The add-on is available now, but the 2D dimension functionality will be available with the next release.

This is some very cleaver functionality, great stuff!! As an architect it would be huge if it could be applied to other Blender models, like buildings and building parts. It would be seriously huge...

My main focus is kitchen, bath, and closet spaces but it's possible to extend this for entire buildings. It will take some time, but I'll get there eventually.

Yeah being able to add a BOM to the drawing will be possible along with annotations. I still need to develop this, but I will release some more information about all of the possibilities soon.

Yeah you will be able to create custom items and add dimensions. It's going to take me a bit to get that far, but it's on the roadmap.

Best random find of the year! You are making me wonder if this can replace chief architect for kitchen design. I hope you keep going on this project. I never used blender but this may be a reason to learn. I have an extensive background in cad, sketchup, chief, 2020 design, d5 render... love to get involved with this. I could really use beaded and flush inset cabinets...

Currently this only works with assemblies, but i would like to extend this to work with standard Blender objects.

Androids are seeing better processors now & I think they can handle such application.
