It would be nice to see the process, I'm trying to use Rodin but I can't figure out how to generate materials, it just says "unlocked after material confirmed"

Rodin for sure. Sooner or later they just _have_ to add a tool like Photoshop's content-aware tool where you can highlight discrepancies in the 3D model and tell the AI what to replace it with or take it out automatically altogether

@@thronosstudios I completely agree. Once we get over the ethics fight of A.i. hopefully we can get some more in-depth tools using this tech. Would love to be able to edit the mesh and materials on the fly.

@@Tino-n3r Yes with further testing I have learned a ton from these tools. Rodin has a multi-image function now as well as a mesh sculptor. Dialing in a more precise model is much easier.

I believe meshy’s PBR and refined models are locked behind a subscription unfortunately. When I filmed the video Rodin had free PBR but may have changed. I am currently working on a project that uses another img-3D generator that yields some better results. I should have a video out covering it soon.

Hello. Can AI replace us in the near future? If algorithms for easy retopo and UV unwrapping are developed with AI, I don’t think this will hinder me. But if a prompter can produce a professional mesh in 3 seconds, does easy retopo and UV unwrapping have any meaning? No matter how much we optimize our art in terms of time, does our imagination have any significance compared to easily and effortlessly creating a 3D mesh with a prompter? In such a case, can I still be an artist?

@@pychh5949 I think it’s a long way from replacing us as artists. They still require human input. Even though I am an advocate for these types of tools to help us get to our creative goals faster. I believe now is a great movement for the badge of “hand crafted” from digital artists. Products made by humans will actually carry more weight in this sea of artificial that we are about to experience.

@@bergus541 So what I understand any of the models created with the free plan is pretty much free use. It gets listed on the feature page almost like a social media post. Anything made with a pay plan is yours and are able to be sold and distributed anyway you see fit. So basically both are fair game but anyone can freely swipe your model and do what they please with it if made with a free account.
