2D Shooter game written in Python (DEMO)

The dude in the game is a friend of mine and he is cool with it.
This is my first game ever, written in Python, using the Pygame library. Still working on it.
The screen recorder makes it look like it's lagging, but it is actually running way smoother that that.
I will leave links to all the assets I used (music, sprites) when I am done as I am not sure what will stay for the end version. The code of the final version will also be available on GitHub.

It's completely 2D. The "stars" are just 2 layers of dots moving in a different speed. That kinda creates the parallax effect.

Hello Taffo i love your game and i am trying to remake it in pygame with my own scripts but i do not have python so i can not play your game. Could you please give a demo of the full game?

Яко е, но не бях готов за това. Добавяй оръжия и power-up-и , дай му health bar, който да намалява със всеки пропуснат изстрел и от време на време да минават health pack-ове мега бързо :D Успех!

I am afraid I don't have the time to. I made this while learning about python and pygame. Was kind enough to share the code. I also left quite a bit of comments in the code. I am afraid I can not provide any more help right now.
