So many reactors get tied up in Tim's solo, they completely miss the fact that he goes even lower when the rest of the guys come in.
@gregpeacock54972 жыл бұрын
Yep, so many miss it. He drops an octave when the others come in.
@hwaynes2 жыл бұрын
@@gregpeacock5497 No he doesn't drop an octave.. There are just some lower notes in the song than what he sang in his solo.. Still the same bass structure...
@OddBallPerformance2 жыл бұрын
@@hwaynes Um, you missed it too then. As the OP said, after the solo, when they do the harmony, Tim quite literally drops an octave down.
@hwaynes2 жыл бұрын
@@OddBallPerformance Again... He didn't drop an octave.. The song is in F.. The 3 chords in the song are F - B flat - C.. When he finishes his solo he ends in F2.. Then the harmonies just do a C - F turn-around so he just drops to C2 (sleepin' in his) then back to F2 (grave) .. which is the normal bass progression with that turn-around.. Dropping to C2 from F2 is just a 4 note drop.. not 8.. If you want to hear his octave drop, listen to Ring of Fire.. His low notes with "fire" are in G2 til his final "fire" where he drops to G1.. I sang bass and played bass for many years and I can tell ya Tim never drops an octave on any note anywhere in this song.. Just standard bass singer stuff..

Lol when Tim sings it's normal to me, but then again I'm a bass myself, I guess I dont see what's so special about his normal chest voice. It's his subharmonics which are special.

Not my device - I'm female. I've always liked a good base voice and I've listened to others and been appreciative. As a woman (and quite over-the-hill) the frequency/tone of some of Tim's notes actually stroke a woman's g-spot. I have no other way to explain it.

@Debajyoti Roy 😆 🤣 It may be called "chest-fry", but for female listeners, the sizzle occurs much lower.
