Super good stuff to YB. All the spacies give samus an extremely hard time with her lack of upward facing anti arials, limited projectile use, and unsafe oos options. YB was really pushing what the character is capable of in this mu.

Look I ain't no Samus guru, but I don't get the "never fully charge your charge shot" meme. I seen a coupla instances where he shoulda fired his shot but he didn't, hesitated or expected somethin' else. Still rootin' for him tho.

@@CLSharpman5000 Im a samus main. The never fully charge your charge shot thing is a meme and is dumb... sometimes. With a fully charges shot, Samus's movement is really limited and predictable because she cant b-reverse wave bounce as a landing mix up. Also, he probably did have some openings to fire a shot, but the charge shot is reactable and Falco has the best reflector in the game. Its a dangerous guessing game that can lead to Samus taking 60, dying, or with a broken shield. Its why this MU is so hard.

@@James-pb8xu Common misconception. Its a good aerial, but its a multi hit, doesnt have a very large hitbox, trades alot, loses to disjoints, and is commital. If the character just airdodges, or is anywhere slightly left or right above samus, she performs up air and is stuck in a multi hit attack, in the air, having used a jump. Up smash would be great, but that hasnt worked since forever lol.

@Kevin Jackson I agree, all I see here is basic samus play 101 fundamentals, nothing pushing to simplify this match up for samus. Conditioning is very underrated and really is the tool to use in this match up. Regardless of how many charge shots you use, all you need is one. There are literally endless taticts in the micro game to shutdown any characters neutral game. Despite the current meta of her chipping away, zoner, charge shot spam neutral; she can have a very creative micro game with aggressive set ups

Mad respect to the players who choose the characters that obviously aren't the best tier and still hold their own. I feel like they use this as practice to one day really perfect that character and mop the floor with S tier characters. Kinda like Awestin does with Ness

Samus needs a damn buff smh. I can’t believe they nerfed her. She’s way to slow and talk for most MUs. Barely any killmoves, and missed throws are wayyy too punishable. And against reflectors (which half the characters in the game have) cause 50 damage to HERSELF?! Like wtf. Charge shot already takes too long to get goin and is like 1 of 3 of her only kill moves. Lol. Charge shot doesn’t even break shield anymore. Smh. I’m elite Samus btw.

Watching Euro and US tourneys, I notice the Euro commentators narrate the play by play much more, whereas American commentators will, at least for the first 30 seconds, talk about smash and the players in general, which I feel is more pre-game talk. Even though the Euro accents are harder to understand, their narration of the game is way more interesting than the general rambling of American commentators. Not to mention they get way more into it. I find you guys to be a little monotonous and that you talk to generally about things.
