Wahoo! Mario’s easy-to-use combos were super effective against Mario! I was surprised by the amount of back airs Mario used against Mario. However, Mario was great at using FLUDD to stop Mario from recovering. What disappointed me was how Mario didn’t use enough down throws for combos. Nevertheless, it was a great set to watch between Mario and Mario.

This definetly showed that zenyou is a stronger Mario and player. I do think mariomaster has a better grasp on zenyous option mixups than vice versa but this set displayed that zenyou understands risk vs reward better, has better execution, has a better footsie game, has better composure, ,better ledge trapping , and better utilization of Mario’s tools. In general zenyou is a better player and a more optimal Mario but in terms of person to person mixup options Mariomaster was better. Zenyou just outclassed him in every other way.
