Thanks a lot for your video on rooting dragon fruit. Your explanations are quite clear and have generated a high interest in cultivating the dragon fruit. Please can you facilitate the purchase of at least three varieties of dragon fruit cuttings? I am from the northern ( dry and hot ) part of Nigeria.

Thanks great video. I noticed some of your cuttings have horizontal cuts to the top. Is it okay to divide one long cutting into several, assuming you keep them the right way up of course?? 🤔
@2guysandacooler4 ай бұрын
100% yes. Often people will take 36-48 inch cuttings and cut them up into 12 inch cuttings. Just make sure you mark the direction of the cutting😉

@2guysandacooler Жыл бұрын
That is an aerial root. Those are the roots that grow out of the dragon fruit and stick to trees or posts. If you have aerial roots near the area that you plan on rooting, plant them as well. Those aerial roots take off when you stick them in soli.

Can D.F.be growen from the seed of the FRUIT?
@2guysandacooler2 жыл бұрын
yes. The issue with growing Dragon Fruit from seed is that it will take you a very long time to get fruit and the fruit could be a hybrid of the mother plant (depending on what the mother plant was cross pollinated with). But... growing DF from seed is very common
