Love your video . I love it when you take us on road trips with you. Just like you, every time we go on road trips, we stay off the highway, and we have seen so many beautiful places. Little hidden gems. I say this honestly, Sarah, being from N.B. our favorite vacation is going to Nova Scotia. We go every year, and it never gets old because we find the hidden gems. I enjoy your videos because they are wonderful and calming . It's so good to see Beemo doing well. My 16 year old sweet cat Winston just got diagnosed with FLDS😢. We are going to continue to love on him. and be thankful for every day we have left with Winston. Take care. 🫂❤️Love from G.M. N .B

I just started watching videos from the channel Mike from Korea. He mentioned to me that your channel was one of his inspirations for starting his. He has lived in Korea for over 30 years and shares a lot of history, anecdotes, recommendations, and insight like your channel. Channels like yours, Dan and Joel, and Mike from Korea are part of a small group of channels that aren't filled with contrived click bait.

Awww, no way! Randomly stumbled across one of his videos the other day :)

@@2hearts1seoul He has some videos that include some of his go to Mom & Pop hidden gems. Worth checking out. He also has a video worth a watch called "Kimchi Stew and an Authoritatian Dictator." In it he discussed the former Korean president Park Chung-Hee (assassinated in 1979). I did not realize this controversial president was a major reason why Korea's economy did a 360 out of poverty. I knew of his daughter Park Geun-Hye (first female Korean president) and her bittersweet fall after the Sewol tragedy and corruption charges. I did not know about her father's story until I watched Mike's video. Fascinating history.

what a beautiful place! having a car in the city definitely doesn't make sense, but it does give you the opportunity and independence to travel to places in the province. it's so fortunate that the parents are willing to lend one of the cars for these trips. hope you get to do more of these! the sights are always spectacular. so much green 💚

Yesss! Whenever we have borrowed/used a car in Seoul, we couldn’t believe how inconvenient it is 😩 Sooo hard to find parking (and it’s often SO expensive), and the traffic is almost always bad, so it takes way longer to get there than the subway. Definitely great to borrow one of the cars for a trip outside of Seoul, though! We really appreciate that they’re totally cool with it 😊

Non-highway ways might take longer, but they are almost inevitably make for far more interesting drives & views. IMO, anyways. Give me the 6 hour drive to Yarmouth (for example) via the old trunk roads over the 2 and a half hour drive there via the highways any day.

I'm about to travel back to the US for a month and a half and this vlog really put me in the mood for summer adventures! My family likes to do a big trip together for celebrations like this, too. My husband and I don't own a car either because it's just too inconvenient where we live and public transport is so good, it's just not practical! Vacationing in the countryside is a very popular & common thing in Sweden during the summer, I'm really looking forward to it when I get back in late June. I felt so bad looking at Beemo waiting for y'all, this is what my cat does too when we're gone and it makes me so sad!

Thanks for taking us along on the country roads, sharing your very delicious meals, AND sharing your family time with us. You and Kyuho are definitely that FUN uncle and auntie, that your niece and nephew will always remember, as they grow up! Also, thank you for the link to Rosetta Stone! You two have been doing this for over 9 years. Are you guys not burnt out and have ever thought of giving it up? I have been seeing a trend where a lot of big channels are not getting the views they use to. Isn’t kind of discouraging that you have all these people that are subscribed, but you are not getting the viewership?
