Love adoption....2 bio sons in their 20s, 4 adopted kids, (3 girls and 1 boy from China) and currently paperchasing for adoption number 5, another little boy.....pray others open up their hearts to kids waiting for a home!!! Found 4 of our 5 kids on Rainbow kids waiting child advocacy site. We are sooo blessed!

The boat ride in Kolkata must have been over the river Ganges, and could have been to temple visits to Dakhineshwar and Belur Math (if it were annual trips) on special festivals or calendar prayer days, or maybe at Princep Ghat, where boat rides, again over the Ganges, is just for fun :) Hope this is helpful.

I really think that all of you should just travel to Kolkata once. Bring Cadie and her siblings too (obviously when she is ready). Also, I live here but I don't think there's any ritual associated to boat ride. But, there are many boat rides available over the river Ganges and many people visit there. It would be awesome if she would comeback once. She can meet the people from the orphanage and go on the boat ride, eat some famous food which she has obviously eaten sometime in her life.

Interesting information from the couple. The children do look so healthy and so tall. They have adopted from India which is so nice as many children gets abandon no because the parents were on drugs is because of extreme poverty. I can see as a great sister who is going to be that big sister who would always be there for her brothers ready to give them advice and moral support if they need it.

My parents taught me how to love which is something that can't be taught but some thinks it can be. They taught me what is good, what is bad. They put the idea of negative thoughts and positive thoughts. They put the idea of good people and bad people. They taught me how to behave in front of them and how to behave different in front of my teachers. Basically parents teach you how to wear masks and when to change them. That's nothing but they're teaching you how to not be who you actually are. That's suppressing not parenting. Not just parents, The whole society destroys your life, the real you and they don't even know. They think what they're doing is right but it's not.
