He said he wants more likes so that's probs why. Even his rtr vids i thought the support for them would be overwhelming but not really. His rtr intro video did well with 1m views 64 k likes but slowly dropped throughout the next few uploads until the last vid in st louis only has 330k views and 16k likes. For a guy that has 3 million subs, its easy to see why adam is asking us for likes for more exposure and adding more content because he knows thats what viewers want most

It's not the muffler that removes the drone, it's the fact that the pipe no longer ends "outside" the car, and is dumping underneath the cabin. Had this issue with my e39 and even just making a temporary "bosuzoku" exhaust will remove the drone almost entirely.
