100% won that battle with collette. Obvious you don’t care but I’m pretty blown away they gave it to her for running away. You never completely straightened but I guess they thought so.

I was thinking the same, especially with her spinning out in the first battle? Need to get some unbiased judges? Kudos to Sam for taking it on the chin. It'd be awesome for him to have a car over there that was totally set up for him instead of using up all his seat time just to get a steering wheel and other stuff sorted. I've been watching drifting since 2003 and I dare say with my level of understanding of drift judging criteria, a spin is a spin. That's it! No sudden death, no win for her. The only chance she had for a win, was if Sammit had spun out on his chase run and then it went to a sudden death. But no you did not spin out. You did fall behind a bit and what appeared to be running out of revs (no tire spin or smoke) plus the washout but if anything all that meant was that maybe you lost that battle. But spinning out is considered the worst thing you can do in drifting. Its a big fat 0 WHOEVER WAS JUDGING THAT EVENT, NEEDS TO BE SACKED! Anyway awesome driving Samit and great content as usual. Love your videos.

I think because sammits line was way off that Collete spun because of that and Collette had a better lead. Sometimes it’s not always based on the chase run but mainly the lead run

She was following a bad line and it appears Sammit slowed down and she had no where to go. I don’t think the judges played any favoritism. I thought Adam won his last battle and they gave it to Fink, Adam had a much better line on his lead and his follow.

@@dowico7256 Yeah, that may be true on the road course but they have a huge parking lot and skid pad by the main entrance which could probably accommodate it They just have to have the parking in the pits and other parking lot. Maybe one day hopefully

My best guess is she's in chase and he took that last turn really wide. And even tho she was going to fast to catch up, and she cut the corner which shouldn't be Sam's fault. Her following his line made her wash out. But I also don't understand why she won either. He was really far behind her in chase. But he also didn't spin so he should of got the win.

Don't know about the E46. However, I am aware that the newer BMWs can be really challenging to drift because they like to suddenly grip up the front at low speeds, and spinn you out if you try to power through. I understand why Clarkson likes em, speed and power is the answer. 😂

I have to admit that your run with Collette you should have won or a OMT in my opinion. She couldn't hit any zone thru the whole event and you were pretty much thru the zones. You are always getting some lame judging when ever you drift in a comp.
