I like the gold painted engine and wheels. The fat and skinny combo is just right. Bummer about the spacers not working. Glad you found a work around. Stubby Ben is looking good and stout like a bulldog.

Looking good, is it getting a full bonnet with the fenders? I think a chrome velocity stack or stacks if you go multi carbs would look great.

Thanks mate, at this stage no bonnet, with these cabs the inlet is so close to the footwell you can only run a single carb unless you start cutting into to cab, being a $2k build there's no room in the budget for anything to fancy.

You know what I really like the build many yrs ago I drove a O,l J series Bedford tipper I said to my Oldest boy I,d dearly love to build a Rattruck Bedford many yrs later after a number of hot Street cars I built a 1954 International AR110 Sidestep Custom Pickup it's not a Bedford but it it is a cool Ratrod virtually a rust free body classic hotrod flatblack whitewalls red Steelies with International baby moons interior is Crocodile embossed black Vinyl hidden remote Sony stero Custom built speaker boxes in cab corners detailed under belly Custom taillights detailed engine bay Custom exhaust extractors tuned 2inch into 3 inch too much to mention and i drive not a trailer queennot finished but now registered 14 month build Bill Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
