2K BUDGET BUILD Ratrod! How to Fake patina blend a 6-inch roof chop! Bedford / Holden pick-up truck!

In this episode 2 of the 2k budget build challenge, we finish the 6-inch roof chop and use fake patina to blend into the original paint. We road trip to purchase a new chassis motor combo for the build and end up installing the cab on the new chassis for its first fit up. We have to deal with a heat wave, a tornado, a week without power, then floods all over the Christmas / New Year's period. As usual the end results speak for themselves and as usual it's all done as cheaply as possible, showing you the DIYer that great results can be achieved with minimal dollars being spent.

Thanks for doing the patina blending in real time. Gives us a good idea about timing between paint and water. The cab looks like it was chopped 60 years ago now. Congrats on the chassis score.

Surprisingly well. Of course there are surface rust everywhere, some green paint can be seen. But certainly can be those useable. One of those has already installed to Chevy Squarebody frame and let see what will be done with the rest 😅​@@copperheadkustoms
