When I was younger I'd watch Bob Ross on TV and about halfway through an episode I always thought his paintings looked done, but he kept adding to it and made them spectacular. This video gave me the same feeling. Around the 7:00 mark when you did the b-roll shots of just the black and browns, I thought the truck looked great, but by the end of the video, you knocked it out of the park. Awesome job, can't wait to see the box done and the truck all assembled.

Nice to see a Pro's approach on KZbin for a change!! The main thing I learned in this was the spatter coat. Kinda late for that on my project, but hope to get similar by dabbing with a natural grown sponge. The kinda grainy way top coat paint weathers as it feathers into the primer has been the toughest for me. Neither sprayed on paint nore sandpaper get it right. I also like the way, on your "primer" color, you put down 2 coats so when you sand down to it, it's forgiving. Wish this vid had come out about a year ago. I'm 75 and doing a Patina Driver restoration on a War Time ('45) Chevy Civlilan 1/2 Ton. Like your tip on the gloss clear coat. I think I'll do that, then Scothbright down to the sheen I want. You've helped me a lot!! Thanks Mon!! Jake, Boise, Idaho
