Hey Guys! I've been following you guys for almost a year and you all inspired me to go to Sturgis this year. I am from Torrance, CA and bought a bag from you all a couple of months ago for my 2016 Street Glide that doubled as a backrest. It was amazing! I used a mixture of some of the routes you have shown on your videos to get there. Thank you for that because it was a great help and some of the most scenic places I've ever seen. Million Dollar highway for example! Just breath taking! I didn't get to Sturgis until Weds. Aug. 10th, but you guys had already left. I had a blast! Rode Spearfish Canyon, ate in Deadwood, and got to see Mt. Rushmore on my way home. Thanks for all you do! It is very helpful and informative!

What's up Route Rider, super stoked to hear that!! Glad you could use some of our routes for some direction along the way. Sounds like you did it right with plenty of scenery on the way. Great riding! Love that Mexican Hat location. We were coming the other way and stopped at the convenience store after crossing the river, grabbed a frosty cold one, then rounded the bend to Mexican Hat, there’s a little dirt/gravel turn in off the road, we pulled in for a TV-time out (lol), to wet our whistle and just gaze at how amazing that rock structure is. We then saddled and rode over to Cortez, then up to Telluride. You know one day, weather might just takes its toll over all the years, and Mexican Hat ends up on the ground! So we need to encourage everyone to go see it. It looks so fragile out there!
@2LaneLife2 жыл бұрын
Good times for sure!! Always a good time rolling through Mexican Hat and Monument Valley and all that good stuff. We've taken the dirt road down to the viewpoint a handful of times, and that rock never disappoints...pretty crazy! And not a bad spot for a cold one haha. Indeed, gotta get people out there to see it! Thanks for watching🤘

Not sure how you guys can pull off a 700 mile + day. We are heading back from Sturgis to San Fran on our Road Glide, the longest stretch so far was Casper to Salt Lake (412 or so miles), damn near killed us…. Another 300 miles in a day, that’s impressive.
@2LaneLife2 жыл бұрын
We usually take our time with 350-550 mile days on the way out on a trip, but sometimes we just like to burn back and get some 700-800 consecutive days in to be home in 2-3 days depending on where we're at. With the way our bikes are setup to our liking, the extra stretch doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Thanks for watching, Bruce 👍

Hey there! Every 8-10k miles depending on how long upcoming rides are. We ride the Dunlop American Elites which can easily go further than that, but given the amount of miles we do in less than ideal weather conditions, it's nice to have fresh tread for good grip and handling.
