I love Bill's comment, "Look, Sound, and Feel. It is soothing". Best way to describe riding a Harley. Great interview!

Sounds all nice and meant to be that way. Congrats for the long-standing success and now history of quality american bikes and building an everlasting dream. A dream that disappoints a few customers who invested hard life-time to be part of it. Those are not represented in the Board, it’s the yays that are represented. That keeps the interns happy, but maintains the wall against new blood, ideas and lifestyles. “We ride with you” means HOG. It’s clearly understandable at bigger open days. And unfortunatley any club-culture sooner or later is self-oriented, same on other extinct or still thriving brands. Well, unless you’re in italy on an italian bike, where in any small motorcycle shop or gas station, you’re instantly part of that specific family, no club-style needed, Laverda, Ducati, MotoGuzzi, Aprilia, MV … name it. I have not experienced that in Germany, UK, Spain, even USA riding a Harley. I am not italian. I’m so fed up with the HD vs. Indian BS, the anti-Beemer, -japanese, … whatever. Now that HD is not even made in the USA for international markets, all that family myth stuff becomes a joke, a branded joke, paying hard cash for a design, not a build. Regardless whether India builds them even better. Ridiculous how 1HD isn’t even serviced by official dealers in 5HD countries. That’s what you call family? LOL.
