Thank you! Every other tutorial I've come across shows them doing the animation in the center of the frame and I was baffled as to why it wasn't working for my circle... which was on the right-hand side of the frame. A perfect, succinct explanation.

FYI, this doesn't work on a Mac which is a BUMMER since it's so easy. Thanks for showing this. Apparently some transitions are different from mac to PC and the only way to get the Mac clock swipe is to buy an additional plug-in that does it. Has anyone figured out a workaround that's free?. Ah: update, on a mac, you have to go to Video Effects->Obsolete->radial wipe and then change parameters to get the similar effect.

Dude, you should specify that this works only for Windows. The clock option isn't available for Mac.
