What my prof couldn't achieve with several hours of lessons, this guy did in just 8 min. A very big thumb up :) 👍

This is what I was searching for 🎉🎉❤ .... As a NEET aspirant , from NCERT book the topic was not clear to me , then I searching the topic and got it , it's outstanding.. really.... Especially you started the concept with that first simple example, from that it being so easy to understand later actual refrigerator... Tnx ❤

The ball bouncing spontaneously does violate conservation of energy: if you catch it, you have something for nothing. If you want to see the second law violated, please watch "Second Law of Thermodynamics broken, violated. Try it yourself" I wish this presenter would also see this. And, for all of you students, please tell your professors.

After you compress the Pump and Leave your hand there is decrese in internal energy ..... Why ?? why does piston come up ?
@vincentweiss32167 жыл бұрын
Technically, the piston shouldn't rise to its original height, but adiabatic expansion will cool the gas down as it decompresses. Basically, the work required to compress the gas is greater than the work needed to lift the piston back up. The lost energy accounts for the cooling effect. This happens because the relationship between volume and temperature is linear whereas the relationship between volume and pressure is nonlinear. All this means is that when the gas is compressed, most of the energy will be used to increase the pressure while some is used to increase the temperature. Likewise, when the gas decompresses, most of the work comes from decreasing pressure and some from decreasing temperature.

He doesn't explain that heat(energy) AKA latent heat, is not really the same as temperature. Physics for people who already understand physics.
