​@@ghostrouxinol6169 oh, hard agree. This is more of a "keep expectations low" cope for bans. Pretty sure bandai prefers to go after the legs of a deck than the head. Apocalymon and Anubis being the exceptions.

Wow topping with one of the best decks in the game and the deck that currently has the record for having won the most events while having the most broken things about him what a shock. But this looks almost like every other mirage list, more so like the EU champion. Floodgates + the 1 rookie that matters - Check The 2 best gaoga level 4's + a bird - Check Zudo + Fish + the 1 of mach - Check Mirage + Hex - Check Burst mode - Check a slimed ration of both thomas tamers - Check A combination of memory boosts and training options - Check I really hope bandai does something soon. I feel sorry for the people who have to put up with this for nationals.

Are you kidding? Everyone at Nats will just be running this or a direct counter to this (which doesn’t work because the line naturally gets rid of any floodgates that could hinder it).

The other mirage I had a lot of issues with was one still running the full 4 strip/unblock gomamon, target removing my best inherits and making brigade useless all the time was pretty rough. They were also super aggressive about burst mode, even hard evo into it a lot, just because they knew I could no longer protect my board thanks to gomamon. Still didn't get totally rolled though, 1-2 with the last game being very close I'm more salty I drew into 3GA, it's usually pretty easy but the game 2 I could not find any of my tanks/dcd to punish the aces. The guy always had a perfect combo in security and I could not afford to waste that much time searching oh well. I had everything in game 3 to win but not enough time

Congratulations on your sencond place finish, well deserved. I personally have nothing against a deck being viable for longer than intended, however Mirage is saturating the competitive landscape, Utrecht was especially bad, and can at times lock your opponents out of the game with Mirage + a floodgate. I hope Bandai gives us a nuclear ban list that hits pretty much everything, in order to promote a new and healthier format for the merger. Seeing as almost every new deck is being gatekept by the old titans of Magna X, Mirage, Fenrir etc.

Congrats on the win. I know mirage gets alot of hate for what it can do, but if you're going to playin the big leagues you might as well play to win. If the deck is too strong, then seeing it top consistently is the best way to get bandai to address it anyways.
