it would be wonderful to see gilliam use the XN Geist again, but then, he destroyed what was left of system XN after the Einst were defeated, so unless the members in his original world came hunting his arse, i doubt the XN Geist would appear in the OG universe

Gilliam will not make another XN-Giest because he got separated from it when he jumped the the OG world from the shadow-mirror world, he was able to recover from his amnesia and remember how many universes he accidentally destroyed with it. All the other times he had jumped it came with him and the amnesia caused by the jump kept him in a cycle of not remembering the consequences of using it. He'd end up fixing the eldrich abomination of a mech and jump to the next universe. It was a viscous cycle, which Gilliam is happy to have been broken. Gilliam is my favorite. How was he supposed to know his trying to save his world would end in a that's so raven twist where his attempts to prevent the end of the world caused the problem in the first place? Or how he played a villain in order to bare all the burden rather then get other people involved. Can't wait for the new Compati-hero game. Will you put up footage from that?

XN-Geist may reappear, considering that XN-L emerged to the OGVerse from the crossgate.

XN-Geist and XN-L are entirely unrelated. They've literally got nothing in common outside of "came from a Banpresto game that wasn't a SRW". Hell, even their names aren't really alike - XN-Geist is that, but XN-L was originally named "Zanel" and is still pronounced that way.

Also, XN-L is a living thing rather than a machine like XN-Geist. At least I think the Kadoam are living things? The only way for XN-Geist to come back would be if Gilliam built one out of scratch, and I really doubt he wants to make another one. As for his whole mission to go back home? He'll probably use Cross Gates.

This unit really needed a Dynamic Kill for the Mega Buster Cannon attack... I kind of feel this Gespenst is not getting the amount of love from the developers that it deserves...

lol gespenst one of few type that have so many variant. heck alt reise, weiss ritter, wild falken wild wruger all is next gen limited edition gespenst. and they add more type in this game (the shoulder cannon one) man i love it XD

jetpack alone makes this as bulky if not over-armored gespent unit after the alt. but the type-R did need an overhaul after the eins attack yknow.

It not possible XN Geist got separate from Gilliam when he jump to Shadow Mirror world? Gilliam posses the knowledge to create Xn system but I doubt he will make any again, only way we will see XN Geist in OG is if he found it somewhere in space or inside of a stargate, or even when originals of srw 64 bring it along with Shadow Mirrors alternatives mechs.

More of the Real Ace pilots need Alt Eisen style final moves which are just super showy versions of them using their entire mech's load out, imo.

or simplier from what I noticed they always upgrade his mech to keep up with the new ones. Gesp. R to RV from 1 and 2 gba and 1 ogs to 2ogs and gaiden. And I remember it beign beast on my team in 2 :0

I doubt that frontier will mix THAT much. They probably will give maybe phantom as cameo or secret unit but nothing more. the least i expect is kyouske in cosplay :0

Seeing all these XN-Geist comments, I'm kind of hoping Gilliam ends up making a new XN-Geist without the dimension-hopping ability - giving it the same power as the original, but making it less desirable for the enemy due to the lack of dimensional travel. Maybe his Gespenst RV gets wrecked, and he builds the new Geist from its remains; and then uses it in the Balmar battles. ...It could be our Astranagant substitute, unless Banpresto pulls a weird move and brings XN-Geist, Astranagant and the DIS all into OG. Then we could make a badass Maximum Break with the Neo Granzon. At least the DIS is likely to appear, considering Ayin already showed up. ...You know, maybe Ing and Ayin somehow combine into Cobray - that would explain why he has white hair and amnesia in Alpha. Ayin simply runs into Ing in space and they somehow become one. (Though I would be much happier if they were their own people and we could use both of them. Imagine an Ex-Exbein and DIS pair-up.)

Uhm arent ayin and ing(which ing are you mentioning? Ing or Ingram?) Already combined themselves in the first part of alpha 3 where ayin Baruch Ben suddenly Grabbed by the astranagant and then it fused to become the werkbau.

In the final cut-in the Gespenst RV with it's cannon looks somewhat like the XN Geist, if you ask me. (3:00 - 3:04)

Yeah, it's pretty "sweetdiculous" as Ryusei would say. They need to add more to it though (along with a lot of other mechs) to help it keep up with the newer units.

Single target mega buster cannon needs a dynamic kill with "Apollon" cutin staring the explosion, like the sun god overlooking daybreak... Inspector gave us a glimpse that Gilliam still has his Apollon helmet, why not follow up on that with the games?
