Thank you for all that great info! Every time I watch one of your videos, I learn a lot more and have found out I really don't know all that much about BLACK POWDER and BLACK POWDER SHOOTING!...Oh believe me! I really thought I did know everything about guns, gun repairs, reloading cartridges for accuracy, off and on about Black Powder Firearms and how to squeeze the best accuracy out of them. WELL, I WAS GREATLY MISTAKEN!! Above all the others that put out videos on Black Powder shooting and info on Black Powder Firearms and Black Powder Cartridge loading, etc. You, Sir, are the only one to really show me something I didn't know or how to do!! ..Oh yes!, I've learned some other ways of doing some things with Black powder firearms from Blackie Thomas, Old Ranger, and the rest of them that I watch on UTUBE, but most the time I've found out that it was something I already knew, forgot about, or another way of doing something! But always interesting to me! Please keep up the good work you do for us " Black Powder enthusiasts out here!!!...It's really appreciated!....HAY!!.. HOW ABOUT!!!.. " LEAME BEAVER " for president!! It would seem that for myself, the powder pucked once would do me just fine. Now if I was competing on a very serious scale perhaps I’d have to experiment as you have. Of course summer weather here in SE Pa. Is very humid compared to NM weather. I suppose that there are many variables and conditions thar are factors. But how picky does a shooter need to be? Thing is Mike that it’s all so much fun experimenting and shooting. Then there is the satisfaction of making your powder, ball and patch. And cleaning our beloved rifles and guns is done with care and focus as we admire the finished product and look forward to the next shoot. It’s keeping that connection to our Ancestors and those Patriots and Freedom. And the Artisans and Craftsmen who created these weapons old and new. Thank You Kindly Mike! Try Progressive Bi Focals to help with your Shooting. I had similar problems until I had my Retina and Cataract Surgery. Unfortunately Medicare doesn't like to pay for them .They rally elped me a Lot before I Retired about 10 years ago.

That's also my problem I am beginning to develop Cataracts. I have a eye appointment soon, I will ask about those glasses. I have already heard about them, very expensive from what I have researched. Thank you

I made my First batch of BP and was amazed how much faster ignition is over Goex! with a 20 ton press! fast stuff Red Cedar charcoal

NICE! you ARE! getting a Solid Base Line! for an undisputed test for load to speeds! and a decent zone! on Target!! DARN You Have A FAST LOCK! like a capper? NICE! toss? your hungs'? As A fellow mature shoote,r with 85% good eyes? I would BE! VERY! HAPPY! with any of these Times or Shots "ON TARGET!" yes I would always want better? but NOT so hot to puck twice anymore? sounds to me? like a waste of time! I do 20 ton at 5% buy weight 9:1 or 7:3 alcohol to H2O. for hydraulics, safe handling, and efficient evaporation for pucking, and sizing. then store with Lots of Desiccant.
