Thanks Graeme. If I hadn’t given my GoPro to my Son Chris, I would be able to fish & film at the same time. Will try to do better next time though ... 😊

Search on Amazon for “REALLY USEFUL STORAGE BOX 4 Litre with 2 x hobby dividers”. It is £12. Then buy just the box (without the hobby trays) for around £5 on Amazon. Finally, buy 2 of their Stationary Trays as well (£4 each from Hobby Craft). I then configure both boxes with a hobby tray in the bottom & the stationary tray on the top. I have one set up with winter gear & the other set up with summer gear. They stack together, as well as with the deeper 9 litre boxes, which I use for other stuff.

A lot mucking around there really. Carrying all that to set up, just as bad as being a carp angler. Roving with one rod, whether I'm float fishing or ledgering for Barbel. You can still care for any fishes welfare, but I suppose for static fishing its OK.

I don’t disagree, but I don’t roam when I’m coarse fishing, I just tend to pick a swim & fish it all day, whether that is for Barbel in the summer or for silvers in the winter. That whole setup used to fit in a chair bag, so not that much extra, really, but the replacement I’ve made out of aluminium simply folds out with only the tray to clip on the top, so 5 minutes to set up & 5 minutes to collapse for transport. Not required for a roamer, but certainly easier to transport than a seat box & a barrow! :-)

Poor quality sound and no footage of you using the float or playing the fish on the pin I struggled throughout to hear you :-(

Unfortunately that’s what you get when you use an old iPhone-5 stood in the middle of the river.! 😂 Funnily enough, I can hear every word when I watch this on my iPhone-8. If I hadn’t given my GoPro to my Son Chris, I would be able to fish & film at the same time. Will try to do better next time though ...

@@stevecfishing4292hanks for the reply, hope you sort it out as it will add to the enjoyment more of you using the pin running the float through and playing the fish please :-)
