I run the combine myself and I can say I can do this all day long. Just watching the header cut the wheat/barley/oats or whatever. I usually start at 9 a.m and by the time I check the clock and its already 5 in the evening!

All looking good up there as always... our rape did 4.2 t/h which was okay... still waiting on the wheat as not yet fit...rain looking like a spoiler for next few days. our unloading auger keeps doing sheer bolts and not sure why - have bought some higher-tensile ones - think someone might have pushed the auger-out button whilst the combine was still in the shed although no ones admitting it - I noticed there's a new dent so likely bent it. Incidentally, were you using last years AdBlue in your combine - I noticed some weird crystals in my AdBlue can from last year - so dumped it and bought some fresh stuff....

@zzirSnipzz1
@zzirSnipzz1 5 жыл бұрын
@@roanduffy3849 Until it gets super dark you can see far better with the lights off, if you turn them on it reduces vision also the lights reflect off the arms and rake and shine back onto the window

@@liamfanny9802 lights reflect off the steel and light up your window making it harder to see when you have none on thats why i always try to leave turning lights on in the field or clamp depending on what i am doing obviously

How many acres would that kind of combine cover in a season out of interest, don’t know a lot about them in general really

700 acres maximum I would say any more and it would take too long you need to get harvest done quick as we only have a 6 week window maximum

Great video andy, does Simon not cart the corn or oats? Of cause John deere don't want you blowing filter out they want to sell you a new engine!! Why didn't you square that field up to stop running in the straw? Are you going to cut the grass with the combine?
