Really nice tune, but as non-American, I can barely understand what you're singing about ;) Is it some kind of southern dialect? Btw: thanks for a description, it helps a lot to feel these times. God bless y'all.

Yes, it actually is! Though the way he sings is nowhere near as thick or accented as southern speech can get. I'm from Virginia, and often make trips up to the blue ridge mountains/West Virginia, and the accents you'll find there are definitely as thick as it gets. I suggest looking up a documentary called "Mountain Talk" to get a better idea of what im talking about.

@@Matthias_SZL Also, a lot of southern speech comes from irish and scottish slang/words. As like scottish people call bags a "poke", west virginians do as well and many other southerners do the same.
