Listening to this now, it just makes me cry. I remember being a kid, seeing my big brother watching 2NE1 on his laptop. Then he introduced me to them, he tried really hard on making me remember their faces that day, but gave up. Whenever I hear "Gotta Be You" and "Happy" it makes me remember that time, the time where it was sunny, sitting near the window, watching the other kids play and I would eat ice cream, not minding that I was making a mess, with my brother on the other room, blasting some music from 2NE1. Fast forward to 2016, I decided to watch them, and I got really addicted. I love them, and wouldn't stop on listening to them. Day and night, no matter what I do, I would play their music. I also watched a lot of their videos. Then one day, I heard from my brother that they disbanded. At first I didn't believe him because he knew that I've been into 2NE1 and thought that he was just pulling a prank on me, I told him that it's not true, and laughed at him. But he looked really serious, then I later found out that it was really true. I cried all night. I wasn't able to move on from it. They were the first ever group I stanned, and that was the first time I experienced a group disbanding. I would cry everytime I played their songs, and I listened to "Happy" a lot of times, thinking that I would be alright, but it didn't work. It just made me even more sad, and I guess that's why I always feel gloomy when I listen to it. I'm grateful that they existed, they made my childhood days and teenage years complete. ;-; They were the reason why I got into KPOP, if I didn't know them earlier, my life would've been boring. I also thank my brother for introducing me to them. I will forever be a BLACKJACK💕

I grew up with many of 2NE1's songs. I didn't know what kpop was when I'd hear 2NE1 songs, but they made me happy. after a while, my family drifted away from most music. in 2018, kpop blew up and I was brought back to all of those memories of going to school and listening to their songs. I get a bittersweet, nostalgic feeling from hearing songs like 'Happy'. I'm glad I got to listen to 2NE1 at such a young age, because I don't know if I'd be the same person if I didn't.

Its funny to think how almost every-kpop-fan of todays gen will fuss over how bad their fave idols were dressed. I mean, if you look at 2ne1's style back then you'll probably be grateful coz your fave nowadays gets fancy mini dress and cute mini skirts.
