Basically Pac had a lot of physical trauma done to his body. Although his spirit was strong and willing to fight his body could go no longer. On this earth only his mother knew best and I support Afeni's decision to free Pac's spirit. As fans we are selfish at times. Peace and love.. I pray both Pac and Afeni have found the presence of Jesus forever amen..

Not only that, pac was out on bail at the time. He would’ve been back in jail had he survived that. Mind u, suge did 10 yrs behind that mgm grand fight that night. That would’ve been another case on top of that rape case he was already fighting. All that physical trauma on top of the stress that was ahead would’ve been too much for his body.

A person can survive with only one lung, and after a while they can even live well with only one lung. But if Pac had have survived, he wouldn’t have been the same Pac. Physically, he would look very different: the sculpted torso we all know would’ve been criss-crossed with deep scars from all the surgeries he had on his chest, and he would be missing a finger (his right index finger I believe), meaning he could no longer throw up the iconic ‘W’ anymore. I think the drastic change in his lifestyle and physical appearance would have damaged his confidence, made him a target for cruel verbal attacks by the many enemies he’d made by that point, and left him with psychological hurdles to overcome, like anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. I’m a huge Pac fan but I think it was probably for the best that he passed away, so he would be forever remembered in his prime, rather than as a shadow of the man he was, had he survived.

From looking at how huge Pac was on the international stage in late 96, from a burgeoning movie career in big mainstream movies including ones he missed out on (Star Wars, Independence Day, Cool Runnings, Forest Gump etc), to being on the verge of headlining Versace's first official collaboration with a Hip Hop artist by being their brand ambassador in 1997 (and receiving custom made Versace jewellery, custom made suits, custom made Valentino suits etc), it's impossible to imagine him as a disabled shell of Tupac Shakur, back in prison in 1997, where he'd more than likely be murdered by any number of people who absolutely hated him, and that's mainly the guards. He'd have everybody from Jay-Z to LL Cool J to DMX to Mobb Deep constantly shitting on him and humiliating him on their albums, and he wouldn't be able to do jack shit about it. Much respect for Mutah Much respect for the most beautiful souls of Tupac and Afeni Shakur. When this stuff happened back then it was a private matter so the information was never really meant for the public or the fans because of how painful it was back then. I was listening to a 1996 interview with Tupac where Sway asked the man himself what he was planning for in five years from back then 1996. Tupac basically said how he saw himself owning stock at Deathrow Records, producing/acting in films, producing artists and new artists and more and he specifically stated, of still working at Deathrow Records... which some can interpret him as being loyal but if you think about it Tupac talked about creating labels under the Deathrow Records banner... which is similar to how Def Jam had different labels and MORE artists and projects... I feel that with Tupac unharmed (which is difficult considering the fact that Keefe D himself stated he and his crew were offered a lot of money they never got paid for) the only ones having a headache back then would have been those haters seeing multiple Deathrow Records albums, multiple artists and the rise of Deathrow Records East bringing back the ace NYC rappers that were somehow being snubbed by the powers that be at NYC... Maybe the problem really was that Tupac himself mentioned these plans on taped interviews and somehow the haters got wind of it so it made them try harder to provoke and bait Tupac and Deathrow Records staff into drama and not saying like Pac and Suge were angels... but Dr Dre no matter what that dude says flips his stories... first "Eazy was ripping him off and being a sellout" then he flip flopped instead of staying solid... it doesn't matter if he still became a multi billionaire cause doing that in the late 1990s would have been more impact full cause we would not have had all that fake corporate formula rap that got shoved down our throats and why besides that hip hop turned wack eventually.

Often out of fear, pain, confusion, self wishes, self delusions- it becomes a mess, and everyone, while entitled and deserved of a voice and opinion- is not a doctor. And people who are not are asked to make terribly difficult decisions that might me unanswerable. Its very sad in general, and Tupacs medical situation imo- was no different.
