Part 24: • Mob James Details Lead...
Part 22: • Mob James Thinks Keefe...
Part 1: • Mob James on White Wom...
------------
In this clip, Mob James detailed how he knew the Southside Crips were behind the murder of Tupac after they were bragging about the slaying back in their set. Mob James went on to discuss the fall out from the Tupac murder and how money ultimately ruined everything, especially for those from Mob Piru. He also gave Dr. Dre props for being a man and stepping away from Death Row when he did.

Suge did not have that type of foresight to invest in these things. He was focused on music and the image of Death Row Records and his own legend. Suge was at the height of his power in the early to mid 90s. He could have had a piece of the Clippers and Raiders if he wanted back then. But that never crossed his mind. Suge was a record producer with false illusions of being a mafia Don. He was just as worried about the daily shit in the hood as he was the business. People need to stop treating Suge Knight as some sort of genius businessman. Without Dr. Dre he or Death Row wouldn’t have taken off. Dre was the hottest thing in rap music. He could have started a record label with Mr. Rogers and called it Koala Bear Records and it still would have been the hottest thing on earth. Suge Knight was not a genius. Before Dre he was a body guard in LA. After Dre he was a has been trying to recapture past glory. Dre before Suge was the driving force behind arguably the most influential rap group of all time. After Suge he had Aftermath and Eminem/50 Cent and after Eminem and 50 Cent he has Beats by Dre. Dre was the genius businessman. Never Suge Knight.

Sure, Vlad has interviewed people in jail before (Bobby Shmurda being one of them), but the hoops he has to jump over and the obstacles he has to go thru just to get the greenlight for an interview are not easy. Why would it be common knowledge that they killed Tupac, like it is with Orlando and was from day one in LA... but no rumour of which Crip killed Big, over 25 years later? Doesn’t make sense. Tupac, yes the Crips, but not Big. Your prison neighbour was capping on that.

At 1:14 James says he saw Southside come up to 662. He says he told them. I wish someone would ask him who "them" is. Becuase if they had just jumped on Orlando who everybody says was a shooter, and they come to the club then that means they are looking to do something. So if James informed someone in the camp, why would they not convey the message to everyone else so they can be on point. So Pac wouldn't be out the window hollering at chicks as they say, so Frank can get out the car with Outlaws and get to his gun, so everyone knows to be watching for a white Cadillac. Who didn't relay the message??
@RedStl
@RedStl 4 жыл бұрын
He wasn’t there when they jumped Orlando. And it ain’t something that they would’ve called and told him- ‘Aye we just jumped on a nigga from the South’... Just seeing them on the scene without any knowledge of them jumping him wouldn’t be something that puts him on high alert. It would be something to take note of like ‘Ok the south is here. We need to be on watch’ but not ‘OH SHIT THE SOUTH IS HERE!! ALL HANDS ON DECK!!’

@@RedStl It doesn't matter if he was there. The point is he thought it was a big enough issue to say "that's all I needed to see, they here". You wouldn't say that unless you felt it was very suspicious of them being there even if you didn't know a fight had happened. So you don't think that would be important enough to realy to your brother and other homies who had just had issues with them in Compton? He's the one who said he told them so why did he tell them then? And I find it hard to believe they wouldn't tell him that had just happened or someone wouldn't have mentioned it to someone at 662, since Reggie had security over there too. And if they didn't then that's the issue.
@1tmproductions
@1tmproductions 4 жыл бұрын
@Delgado smooth72 It does matter who got the message because know you know for sure they are hunting and coming to where you are at. And you know what type of car they are in. That's crucial. And you are right they weren't trained security but trained security was with them. So my point is if James identified them and said he told them, then trained security should have been on point. And if Pac got smoked becuase of that, why didn't anyone else get smoked becuase several people jumped him???
