Destiny is written. He was only a couple yards away from 2pac 2 years before he seen him again after 15 years. AND!!! He consciously aknowledged the actual area and live situation his son was experiencing (He was driving on the hwy and seen the camera's and trailers set up and people.) I had no idea Tupac had a biological father still living. Until now, I thought Tupac's father was dead. I was shocked by this interview. I absolutely believe what he said in this interview. Everything Mr. Garland said about Tupac not being a thug and the story of Tupac buying $5k boots for that man in the luxury store just to spread joy. Every interview with Billy Garland, he’s always been so genuine. Very respectful and his story about Tupac has never changed. He knew who his son was because he used to have him when he was a toddler and Tupac knew his father, they connected when he was in his late teens, early 20s and Tupac understood that there was no way for Billy to be in his life with how much he had to move with his mom, how Billy had no idea how to find him after losing contact with Afeni and how Billy had a family of his own. Tupac and Billy got along well too.

Afeni knew but she purposely kept that info from PAC and that’s why she told him that his father died. Also, Tupac had Legs around when his mom was on drugs and he was saying that he was Tupacs dad too. Tupac had an interview about that and when he was in prison, he admitted to only having a couple interactions with his father that he remembered. Billy was there at the hospital with Pac after Pac got shot at Quad studios when he was 23. You need to watch the interviews, this was all confirmed. I went thru the same exact experience this man did with my two first born, and the streets didn't have a hold on me. My fault was not filing for joint custody, thinking our agreement was good. One day, my 10 year old and 8 year old boys disappeared off the face of the earth. Young and didn't have the money to hire people to find them. Didn't know and was so depressed and just wanted to forget. I understand this man and feel bad. Pac never got to live his life! 25! SMH! Gone too soon!

Depending on when you grew up, technology wasn’t what it is today, so if you grew up around mines and Tupac’s era, you couldn’t just get online and find folks ESPECIALLY if they moved out of state. Note to baby fathers: be there at the birth of your child and immediately file a joint custody agreement regardless if you’re getting along with the mother or not because that may change, and she’ll leave the state/country on you, and you’ll never see your child. Yeah my mom and my father met each other in Phoenix Arizona and they were together for awhile and they moved to Oklahoma where my mother is from and my dad lived in Arizona most his life but was from san Diego but they moved to Oklahoma together then i was born in Tulsa Oklahoma then they moved back to Phoenix and around the time i was one years old my mom and dad weren't getting along and my mom took me on my birthday at one years old and went back to Oklahoma and didn't tell my dad and my family had a birthday party set up for me birthday cake and party and everything and my dad told me he had to go tell my family that she took me away and that it was a sad day for them so for 17 years i never saw my dad and my mom never spoke bad about my dad but just said he had a drug problem but always said he was a good man but she didn't realize the pain she had put us through and how much guidance i needed growing up but one day when i was 17 years old my sister came to my house and had told me my cousin found her on Facebook and said that he has been looking for me and my family wanted to get in contact with me if i wanted and long story short got in contact with them and it felt amazing because you gotta understand I didn't ever talk to any of them on my dads side for my entire life my Mexican Chicano side about 10 months later my aunt drove to Oklahoma after i turned 18 and met her for the first time she spent the night talked to my mom and sister and made up with my mom for what happened 17 years ago and the next day i left with her and packed all my stuff said goodbye to my mom and sisters got on the road and went to Phoenix and met my whole family and i never felt that good in my entire life when i met them i felt high because all those years i felt alone and never had so many people and a support system like that then i met my dad it went well wasn't what I expected of course because alot of damage was done I was already 18 and couldn't get the years and time and disapline and guidance I needed from my father but it is what it is but I stayed there for a year and came back to Oklahoma and just been chilling here since then it was 2020 during covid when i went to Phoenix and was going through alot of mental health issues and going to Phoenix got me out of a terrible place and im greatfull for that it wasn't perfect seeing them but i love them so much and will see them again but i neeeded to get away because they all live together and it was always loud and not much privacy and wasn't used to that but it was really fun but after a year i had to get away but at the end of the day it was a miracle they found me i was sure i would never ever meet them or my dad i accepted that and then it happened and it felt like a dream ill never forget it but i do know how important it is for a mother and father is to communicate and to always think about the child because i struggle with alot today becoming a man and learning things that i was supposed to know already and can never get that time back i was supposed to have with my father I could say it was my mother's fault or my dad's fault my mom has told me things about my dad and my dad has told me things about my mom so i don't blame either of them even tho my mom could of communicated better I just don't have it in me to blame her at this point there's things my father did that was wrong but too but it's the past and I have to move on now so just remember to think about the decisions your about to make mothers and fathers that could impact the childs life and future forever.

What I take from a lot of interviews about Pac is the trauma he went through and the trauma that was projected on him by other people. You might have family members on your dad’s side who’ve also done one also and might be able to find out who he is that way.
