I remember being rushed into my dad (Hazma Shakur) van and we peeled to Yaki mom house in Decatur and he dropped me off and the went to the airport to go to Vegas. I was 7 at the time. Is it crazy that even at 7, I knew this man was the best rapper ever. His songs were so universal and can touch people of all ages, even children. As a child, I cried and it took my years to believe he was actually died due to the conspiracy theories and genius of how he had so much music recorded and the fact that he recorded as if he knew he would die. I still haven’t heard an album in rap history better than Makaveli. Long Live the 🐐

I go through so many emotions regarding Tupac’s demise. Anger, sadness, depression and confusion. I get mad at PAC as well. There was shit that he just did not need to jump into. You’re a superstar. An artist. He didn’t need to go down that path. I think of so many scenarios in my mind. Don’t sign with deathrow. Ride it out? Why didn’t interscope bail him out? His album was #1. Suge made him his mouthpiece for drama. He was used, abused and assassinated, point blank.
